Released 2026-10-07. 4 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-13.
Newest update: Tar and Teeth (2026-10-13)
- The Mimic now spits globs of tar from a distance, slowing any hider caught in the splatter.
- Found weapons—clubs, hatchets, and spears—scatter through the woods each round for hiders to grab and swing harder.
- The Mimic can wither the forest, stripping every tree bare for a minute; the canopy dies and regrows in a slow wave.
- Hiders must wake the pale-glowing sleepers shuffling through the woods to break the Mimic's power and win the round.
- Every attack now cuts a visible arc through the air, and combat hits land with weight—your swings ease in and out instead of snapping.
Earlier update: The Ritual (2026-10-12)
- Wake the sleeping dreamers to summon relics from the deep shrines, carry them to the candlelit altar in the clearing, and kneel together to chant—but the Hollow hunts you there.
- The Hollow now wears its true shape: a gaunt ash-pale creature with a deer skull, antlers, and cold glowing eyes that stare from the dark.
- Pick a hider role—Scout, Medic, Hunter, or Mystic—each with a unique power on Q: mark the monster, heal the hurt, hit harder, or shield your kin.
- Stone cairns lit by stubby blue candles mark the trail from the clearing to each relic shrine, and the Hollow breathes, twitches, and lunges with new hunger.
Earlier update: Steady Vision (2026-10-07)
- Your view no longer stutters when trees get in the way.
Earlier update: Climbing & Swift Hunts (2026-10-07)
- Mimics now scale trunks and walls by holding space against them, opening new escape routes through the canopy.
- The revealed seeker tears through the woods at nearly double speed, turning the hunt into a desperate chase.
- Every swing and throw now animates with full body motion instead of just the arms.
- The forest breathes cleaner—mist settles naturally by height, and the flickering shadows are gone.
What players say
@chizkeykkk · loved it · 2026-10-13 · played 18 min: “This is such a fun hide-and-seek game! I literally banged my knees against the table when the monster suddenly appeared behind me lol 😂”
@laurence1 · needs work · 2026-10-08 · played 9 min: “Man it would be cool if you add like the mimic to be more aggresive so that it will be fun and horrifying at the same time because I was just exploring the area but I was barely chased and I feel like the mimic is just static. Looking forward on it!”
- @binxius (maker) replied 2026-10-08: “Yes still working on the AI to be less well stupid lol it's a multiplayer game so when it's filled with real people it will shine”
@lego · needs work · 2026-10-07 · played 24 min: “Another Hide and Seek game, nice! This one feels more challenging than the other one since the forest makes clues and people harder to find”
- @lego replied 2026-10-07: “Tho the Hunter is kinda static, no animation. Also, I couldn't find the last person I need to wake up. I've looked everywhere!”
- @binxius (maker) replied 2026-10-07: “Yeah the bots suck, will work on the people that need waking up placements”
@kaya · needs work · 2026-10-07 · played 12 min: “tried a game with my friend and after a few minutes, we were able to collect most clues and wake up dreamers, but we didn't really see the mimic the whole time. would be great if the mimic's AI was more agressive with the hunting for more challenge”
- @binxius (maker) replied 2026-10-07: “I'm really struggling to get the NPCs to function properly idk why”
