30 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-30.
Earlier update: Faces You Earn (2026-10-30)
- Wil, Sorrel and Ines hand you their AetherDeck card the first time you talk to them in your hall.
- The resident your branch leaves out can still drop in the field: Wil if you chose the kitchen, Sorrel if you chose the workshop.
- The Reliquary Custodian's holo card now only comes from beating him. If you already did, it arrives on your next trip out.
Earlier update: Room for Tomorrow (2026-10-30)
- Low Lantern's old hall is yours to decide: survey it, hear Orren, Edda and Hale, then make it a workshop or a community kitchen.
- Gather salvage and a helper, open the doors through the worksite, and settle the noise or the water queue with Hale.
- Wil, Sorrel and Ines move in and use the hall, and it rebuilds the way you left it every time you return.
- Three new AetherDeck cards: Wil Tarrow, Sorrel Fenn and Ines Marr.
Earlier update: Steel & Scabbard (2026-10-30)
- Hold right click to guard, and time it for a parry. Press V to sheathe and draw your sword. 20 new swords, 10 axes for Latch and 10 staves for Morrow, each with its own look, plus 57 armor pieces from Garran's shop and from chests. Elemental blade trails, dust when you roll and land, and Latch and Morrow chat as you explore. Story routes on the Wayglass now need the full party.
Earlier update: Dust & Maps (2026-10-30)
- Rolls kick up dust now, and backsteps make a small puff. The minimap and big map show the whole town in one style: stone streets, the real shoreline, and every canal, bay and lake. Every AetherDeck card shows whether it's a player (PC) or a resident (RES). Gaps along the canal edges are filled in, the scanlines are softer, and the stray lanterns on the Hallmere stair banisters are gone.
Earlier update: The Murmuring Ferry (2026-10-29)
- Bright Murmuring Ferry is now golden-hour river country: a wide river under a long stone bridge, a quay and jetty, and a hill town with a bell tower.
- The north meadow has ruins to explore, a keep with four runes, a sealed vault and the Warden miniboss.
- The river and lake now have fish swimming in them, glowing plants along the banks, and trees whose leaves sway in the wind.
- The Ferry has a working farm with fields running down the hill. In other versions of the field you'll find it in ruins.
- Press Caps Lock to toggle a sprint.

It feels like I've been isekai'd into another world! ✨ The roll animation is such a nice touch, & I love how the setting and character designs make me feel like a real adventurer.”
- @larrielabs replied 2026-10-29: “I'm excited to explore more of this world, so I'll keep taking quests and see where they lead me! ~”
- @cosmicentity (maker) replied 2026-10-29: “That's exactly the feeling I'm going for! I'm so glad you like it so far. Thank you for playing! We've got a long way to go, I've got a lot of plans, but it's already come so far. :)”
@yujiro · loved it · 2026-10-27 · played 9 min · 1 heart: “I really had fun exploring this game! The graphics are amazing and the controls feel really smooth. However, the dungeons are a little too dark, making it hard to see where to go. Better lighting would make exploring more enjoyable.”
- @cosmicentity (maker) replied 2026-10-27: “Thanks for playing Yujiro! I'm torn between keeping them menacingly dark and needing something like light potions/magic to light it or just putting more light in them, but You are absolutely right. they do need better lighting.”
- @cosmicentity (maker) replied 2026-10-27: “Just adjusted the Lighting, let me know what you think. :)”
@neitantei · loved it · 2026-10-26 · played 13 min · 1 heart: “I'm having so much fun playing this game, but I suddenly got stuck in a dungeon with a neon purple bell drawing on the wall. Is this a bug? Please look into it and fix it. Still, fire game! 🔥”
- @cosmicentity (maker) replied 2026-10-26: “will look into it. Just pushed a huge UI update and a slight story continuity thing regarding that dungeon so it's possible you got caught in a weird bug.”
- @cosmicentity (maker) replied 2026-10-26: “was there a bell in the room before that one? just restarted and ran through to here and it worked.”
- @cosmicentity (maker) replied 2026-10-26: “Thanks for playing! Glad you are having fun! Still super early days. If you have any ideas for the dungeons or fields let me know and I'll try and make it happen!”

@sunraku · loved it · 2026-10-23 · played 16 min · 1 heart: “Hey bro! Is this some "SAO" type gameplay? I love the attack animation bro + the city with this huge mirror as portal was so cool. I really got some goosebumps when I played this. Maybe you can improve the idle position of NPC like Latch and Morrow”

THE COMMON SKY is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @cosmicentity in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @cosmicentity/the-common-sky. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@cosmicentity/the-common-sky.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@cosmicentity/the-common-sky@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @cosmicentity/the-common-sky; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
