Released 2026-10-29. 4 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-29.
Newest update: Ronny Flounders and the Kraken's bar (2026-10-29)
- Ronny Flounders now tends the Drunken Kraken's bar. Bring him any mythic fish and he trades you his Cosmo Artifact, once. The bar has more room behind it, the stern wall trim no longer flickers, and Dot in Pirate Bay has new lines.
Earlier update: Right Where You Left (2026-10-29)
- Rejoin and you're back where you left off, on whichever island you stood.
- Left your own boat out at sea? You rejoin sitting in it, right there.
- Green's Isle has a boatyard now: Fennick Grey sells and calls boats from his jetty.
- You can hold your catch while resting in a rowboat.
- Fishing stops handing out treasure maps once you carry six.
What players say
@makeriffic · loved it · 2026-10-29 · played 17 min: “I love the color of the ocean and the music bro, it feels like I'm in Hawaii. Fishing is nice but the controls on reeling in is somehow confusing because at one point it all shows all letter A where in fact it isn't, sometimes 3 A and 1 S.”
@chizkeykkk · loved it · 2026-10-29 · played 18 min: “I love how chill this game is! I love fishing games like this, although sometimes my line gets cast behind me, and the fishing minigame buttons change based on what I press, but they still only work with ASDF 😅”

This world is @crazybeard/angler-s-life. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@crazybeard/angler-s-life.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@crazybeard/angler-s-life@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @crazybeard/angler-s-life; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
