Released 2026-08-20. 5 updates since release, the newest 2026-08-24.
Newest update: The Phone Fix (2026-08-24)
- On phones, the flashlight now has its own button (bottom right, next to jump, use, and sprint). Creator-tool shortcuts no longer take up space on the touch screen.
Earlier update: The Lows Update (2026-08-24)
- A whole movie theatre has opened next door to the arcade — twenty auditoriums, a grand lobby with a ticket counter and concessions, and a marquee tower that glows at night.
- Sunday nights at the movies are now a playable day, with six new activities: buy a ticket, grab snacks, peek into different screens, sit in the front row, and catch some air off the balcony.
- The town's compass has shifted — Woodfield is now south of Palatine instead of west, and the sunset hangs in a new direction.
- A bike rack and parking lot have materialized outside the arcade, complete with asphalt, curbs, lane markings, and a welcoming sign.
Earlier update: The Workroom Update (2026-08-22)
- The camera now stays clear of walls and roofs — indoors, you stay on screen instead of clipping through ceilings.
- Stale rounds from before a restart now clean up properly instead of leaving you stuck mid-hunt with no day running.
- A lemonade cup no longer crashes if it's already been picked up or swept away.
- The game now speaks through a whole new cinematic color grade — warm daylight, pink dusk, and deep moonlit nights that never go black.
- Two new developer tools ship built-in: a work-tracking board showing what wisps are doing, and a direct chat line to the creator.
Earlier update: The Evening Shift (2026-08-20)
- The soundtrack now shifts as the sun sets — breezy roots-pop and ambient sounds fade in to match the time of day.
- Music and ambience adapt to where you are on the map, creating a different sonic landscape in each neighborhood.
- The audio mix responds to the game's tag-chase action, swelling when the hunt is on and settling during quiet moments.
Earlier update: Ding Dong Ditch (2026-08-20)
- Mrs. Crabapple's porch has become the neighborhood's most notorious dare — ring her doorbell if you're brave enough.
- Cannonball off the high dive into Birch Wood pool and stick the landing.
- Three new summer activities join the checklist: the high dive, the playzone, and the ultimate prank.
- Fireflies now close out your checklist as the final activity — the perfect way to end a summer night.
