Newest update: Your Own Hands (2026-10-31)

• Your character now uses their own arms for every item, seen in first person. Item animations and screen effects stay on the user's screen. Better translations and a language button. Bot hands no longer cut through their bodies.

Earlier update: Seated Players & Table Fixes (2026-10-31)

• Players now sit in their chair from the start instead of a T-pose. Shot players fall back into the dark, pull themselves up by the table's edge and sit back down. The Dealer's face leans toward whoever has the turn. Bots shake less when aimed at. Player hands are back to the old models. The Inverter can be used outside your turn once per round. Shells now load centered on the table.

Earlier update: Real Hands & Death Screen (2026-10-31)

• The game is now in English. Item animations use wrists and hands instead of whole arms, and they play at the seat of whoever used the item. A dead player's monitor shows their name, empty lives and a red flatline at 0 BPM. The Dealer's red eyes now sit on his painted pupils. The shotgun lies straight on the table. Bots fill empty chairs and raise their hands when you aim at them. You can aim at other players and bots. The table has a new lighting look. If every human dies, the bots can no longer win the match for you.

I also noticed the characters stand with arms outstretched, but a separate smoking hand appears, which looks odd.”

The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @epicgb/spawnshott-roullete; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).

Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
