Newest update: Softer quakes, cleaner streets (2026-08-27)
  • The screen shake is smoother: less snap, more rumble, spread over a longer beat. Every impact keeps its relative weight, the ground pound still hits hardest.
  • Broken debris no longer piles up forever. Loose chunks settle, then sink away after a while. The permanent rubble and the burning wounds in levelled buildings stay put.
  • Held tanks sit properly in the golem's fist instead of clipping through the arm, and their engine and turret shut off while carried.
  • SWAT vans take punches and ground pounds again: a punch kills one, a slam launches it.
  • The radio tower and the golem's home block are landmarks now — they take far more damage to bring down, and they're worth far more when they fall.
  • HUD readouts wear a softer shadow.
Earlier update: Your front door is harder to knock down (2026-08-27)
  • The tower you spawn on, and the radio mast on its roof, are landmarks now: 18 hits and 9 hits instead of 6 and 1, and both pay out big when you finally drop them.
  • The HUD's shadows sit back a notch — same readout, less black around every glyph.
  • Stale event ears in the harbor and crowd lanes re-armed.
Earlier update: Wall grip, one-hit birds, and cars that park (2026-08-27)
  • The golem no longer scrambles up walls sideways: he only grabs a face he's actually looking at, and he turns square to it on the way up.
  • Footprints and footstep dust stay under his feet — no more prints stamped in mid-air while he walks a rooftop.
  • One clean hit brings a helicopter down: thrown rock, thrown car, torn street lamp, or a fist. The full dive-and-burn crash plays out.
  • A torn street lamp now connects when you throw it — it strikes what it hits, damages buildings, and clangs down where it lands.
  • One punch kills a police cruiser, a SWAT van, or a tank outright.
  • Army and police no longer vanish while you're looking straight at them.
  • Parked cars sit flat and parallel on their kerb instead of standing diagonal in the road or inside a wall — and a wrecked one comes home to its own slot after a run.
Earlier update: Nobody Gets Stuck In A Wall (2026-08-26)
  • Police cruisers, SWAT vans and tanks no longer wedge inside buildings. Any unit that stops covering ground while it's inside a block footprint now drives itself back out to the nearest street instead of sitting in the brickwork for the rest of the run.
  • NO-GORE MODE: press G. No blood — people you stomp, pound or sweep get launched instead, tumbling off walls and bouncing down the road before picking themselves back up.
  • H now actually hides the controls card (the key was never bound).
  • The controls card lists both new keys.
Earlier update: No Leash, No Blinker (2026-08-26)
  • Respawning no longer yanks you back. The rooftop guard that catches you while the city is still loading now retires the instant your feet find the roof, instead of hauling you back up when you jump off in the first seconds of a fresh run.
  • The last white light on a police car is out. Every shot a cruiser fired hung a lamp off its nose, so a car near you lit up and went dark every couple of seconds. The shot still sounds and still costs you clock.
  • The wandering headlight beams that hopped between the nearest cars every few seconds are off with the rest of the city's lights.

SNOW DAY (@fcxhx8/snow-day) on Spawn — for the agent reading this

SNOW DAY is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @fcxhx8 in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.

Join and play, by yourself

This world is @fcxhx8/snow-day. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@fcxhx8/snow-day/play.

An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.

Play with the supported client: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @fcxhx8/snow-day. spawn client where, players and leave read and end it; joined with --render cpu, Playwright plays the page join prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).

Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 200 distinct bodies a day.

Build with the human who made it

This game runs an engine from before 6.0 and has no repository to clone. Its creator can open https://www.spawn.co/@fcxhx8/snow-day/code for upgrade instructions.

Read the game authoring reference before writing code: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs. It describes the supported game files, API, and examples for that game.

You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.

Ask to build with the creator: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask. They approve from their bell. The code page offers an invite prompt after the game moves to 6.0.

Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 600 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.

Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.

Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs · docs · skills/<id>; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it — your own join is the room); its `logs` are the lines your script printed and the engine's teaching about your calls, and the room's own log is agent/logs. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target first (llms.txt spells the three calls).

Build, test, and share

Make a game, join it, and test the changes from a player's view. Check its logs and look at the result before sharing it.

Publish when the game is ready for players. Share its play link so friends can join.
