Released 2026-10-13. 7 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-14.
Newest update: Forge Your Story (2026-10-14)
- New trailer on the page. The opening story now tells you how every spell and strike reshapes your weapon. After you pick your Calling, the Magic Mirror tells you that you can change it at the Hall of Callings east of the plaza, and each Calling keeps its own level. You step out in third person after creating your character. Fixed the Delver Board by the Deep Gate.
Earlier update: Choose Your Calling (2026-10-14)
- A narrated opening flies you through Emberdeep, drawn and ready as it starts.
- Make your character in the Magic Mirror and choose your Calling (Warrior, Mage, Priest, Druid, Monk or Necromancer) before you step into the city.
- You meet the city in third person, looking at the delver you just made.
- Every citizen has a name, a trade and a past: talk to them, drink with them, love them.
- Citizens can die and stay dead. New faces arrive and the city keeps growing.
- A quieter start: the HUD opens up step by step as you follow The First Descent.
- Open playtest: Esc > Send Feedback.
Earlier update: Choose Your Calling (2026-10-14)

- Every citizen has a name, a trade and a past: talk to them, drink with them, love them.
- Citizens can die and stay dead. New faces arrive and the city keeps growing.

What players say
@jeon · needs work · 2026-10-14 · played 16 min: “Bro, I love being able to customize my character haha! 😂 But I accidentally picked Monk and couldnt change it back, and the outfit just isnt my style xD. Being able to switch classes would be awesome!”
- @forge_fox_ (maker) replied 2026-10-14: “You can change them at the Hall of Callings, I will add something for that, so sorry it is early status right now!!!! You can change the appearance of character at a Magic Mirror in the tavern.”
- @forge_fox_ (maker) replied 2026-10-14: “Thank you for playing :) Will keep updating.”

This world is @forge_fox_/emberdeep-online. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@forge_fox_/emberdeep-online/play.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@forge_fox_/emberdeep-online@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @forge_fox_/emberdeep-online; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
