Released 2026-10-07. 3 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-09.
Newest update: Vignette Overhaul (2026-10-09)
- The ring now fades to black at the edges with a smooth vignette effect instead of a flat sprite.
- The vignette darkening is now rendered dynamically after each frame for a cleaner, more polished look around the ring.
Earlier update: Vibration Control (2026-10-07)
- Turn vibration on or off from the pause menu and title screen — your choice sticks around.
Earlier update: Arcade Knockout Theater (2026-10-07)
- Crowd flashes strobe across the ring on big hits and knockdowns—each punch lands harder now.
- Counter hits and combo streaks trigger explosive shockwaves and on-screen callouts that shake the camera.
- KOs trigger a full flashbulb storm as the crowd erupts.
- The HUD got a full 16-bit arcade makeover: pixel font, beveled panels, and a blocky retro scoreboard that screams arcade cabinet.
- Phones buzz on the opponent's wind-up and when you slip a punch clean.

@parz1val · loved it · 2026-10-07 · played 9 min · 1 heart · shown first by the maker: “I love this, It’s so nostalgic, like one of the games I played on my Game Boy. You can easily tell when the enemy is about to punch, so dodging feels really good. Love it! Hope you add character customization too.”
@laurence1 · loved it · 2026-10-08 · played 11 min · shown first by the maker: “Man game is pretty fun reminds me of my old days arcade game also the retro pixel art is so cool! I also like when I got knocked up I will definitely smash my buttons just to get up xD! GREAT GAME!”
@jeon · loved it · 2026-10-09 · played 13 min: “Damn bro, I beat Rusty Hinger easily in round 1, then suddenly none of my punches connected in round 2 😂 How did he get so good in just one round? HAHAHA! That comeback caught me off guard xD.”

An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@gfta/g-funky-s-super-knock-out@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @gfta/g-funky-s-super-knock-out; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
