What players say
@neitantei · needs work · 2026-10-15 · played 7 min: “I love the retro vibes! In the first stage, the Mario-looking character kills me when I get close. Is that intentional? Also, there's no water splash animation, and an invisible barrier stops me from climbing the vines fully. Hope you can fix these”
@larrielabs · needs work · 2026-10-15 · played 3 min: “Nice DK game! 🐵 The background looks so good and definitely brings back some memories. 😊 I noticed the enemy wasn't really moving, so I was able to get through the level pretty easily. It would be nice to see the enemy move around a bit more! 😃”
@sunraku · needs work · 2026-10-15 · played 4 min: “The game feels nostalgic and it was funny since the situation was opposite. I just noticed that fat Mario was not releasing barrel as the original game works. Was that intentional?”
@moypi03 · loved it · 2026-10-15 · played 2 min: “It was so fun to rescue Diddy but why the guard is not chasing me lol1 I love how i can swap appearance to Funky Kong, so cool? Also, in next level I climb into veins but the crocodile is not attacking me haha”
@yujiro · needs work · 2026-10-15 · played 1 min: “I had fun playing as DK the gorilla in this Super Mario-style game, hahaha! It was a cool twist, but I wish the enemies would move around instead of standing still.”

This world is @howard_mallard/kong-rescue. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@howard_mallard/kong-rescue.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@howard_mallard/kong-rescue@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @howard_mallard/kong-rescue; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
