Released 2026-10-09. 5 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-10.
Newest update: Yard Workers (2026-10-10)
- Drivers now step out of the forklift's way when it gets close, sliding sideways to stay safe.
- Drivers climb out of their cabs less often — now only every minute or two, not constantly.
- Drunk muttering is quieter and doesn't linger as speech bubbles — just ambient grumbling in the yard.
- Drunk workers lurch and sway more erratically as they stumble around, weaving side to side.
- The forklift honks a warning when it gets too close to a pedestrian and can't push through.
Earlier update: The Town Arrives (2026-10-10)
- A whole English town has grown up around the yard—terraces, a pub, shops, a church, and allotments with wooded hills on the horizon.
- Lorry drivers now climb out to grab a bacon butty at Bob's Caff van, wander the yard, and head back to their cabs.
- Wojtek the vodka runner tears through the yard in a tracksuit every few minutes, shouting abuse and swerving round the forklift.
- The yard sits on proper green English grass with gravel stockyards, and the sky has turned overcast and quiet.
- Mobile players now steer with a thumbstick in the bottom-left corner instead of tilting the phone.
Earlier update: Landscape Mode (2026-10-10)
- Play Bob's Boards on a sideways phone — the title menu now scrolls so you can always reach START SHIFT.
- Pause and stop-confirm screens fit your landscape screen without getting in the way.
Earlier update: Head-to-Head Shifts (2026-10-10)
- Clock on and you'll wait up to 30 seconds for a rival — then you both drive your own yards side-by-side, watching each other's live score the whole time.
- The report now shows whether you won or lost against your rival, or went solo if nobody showed up.
- Job ticket moved under the rival bar so you can keep an eye on both at once.
Earlier update: Phone Mode (2026-10-09)
- Play Bob's Boards on your phone in landscape with thumb controls for steering, pedals, fork levers, and braking.
- The HUD shrinks and moves out of the way of your thumbs so you can see the action while you drive.
- Tip your phone sideways and the game auto-pauses — tip it back and you're driving again.
What players say
@yujiro · loved it · 2026-10-10 · played 11 min · shown first by the maker: “It’s definitely a challenging game! The guide for using the fork was really helpful too. Turns out the problem was the driver, not the game hahaha.”
@makeriffic · needs work · 2026-10-10 · played 25 min · shown first by the maker: “I was working with my friend for us to place more pallets in the game, however there is only one forklift that can be used so logistics team is behind. lol. I like the controls though, is fairly smooth especially with the aid during acquiring one.”
- @j3d3 (maker) replied 2026-10-10: “Great point lol multiplayer now added x”
@yzykyl · needs work · 2026-10-10 · played 13 min: “I wanted to try playing the game but it says someone else is on the forklift. I waited for a while to see if I can get a chance but doesn't seem like it. Would be nice to maybe have more forklifts added per player especially if player count rises.”
@chizkeykkk · needs work · 2026-10-10 · played 7 min: “Aw I was excited to play this with a friend however there is only one forklift so I cannot play while he does. 😭😅”
- @j3d3 (maker) replied 2026-10-10: “Yea fair point lol, now fixed”
