Released 2026-10-07. 12 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-10.
Newest update: Neon signs, lift battleships, cleaner chess (2026-10-10)
- NEON JENGA floor signs now fill their backboards edge to edge.
- The Battleship lifts carry little bobbing neon battleships that hide at the top and ride back down.
- Chess and checkers pieces only appear once a game starts.
Earlier update: Instant WASD Steering (2026-10-10)
- Snakier Snake: instant WASD steering and a rock-steady overhead camera. Jenga: pulling middle blocks never costs stability. Cleaner neon path crossings.
Earlier update: Neon Jenga (2026-10-10)
- Neon Jenga: a giant 1-4 player tower. Quarter-turn spins, an aim glow on the blocks you can pull, a seat lock during play, and play-again or leave at the end.
Earlier update: Lift fixes (2026-10-10)
- Lifts work again on Battleship and Chess:
- Lifts can no longer get stuck, and the call buttons always bring a raised lift down.
- Step on a lift and it carries you up to the deck. When no game is running, it sinks back down once the deck is empty, ready for the next player.
- Battleship mural cannon fire and explosions no longer glow through the outside walls.
Earlier update: The Neon Arcade grows: Snake, Air Hockey, Chess & Checkers (2026-10-10)
- New games in the meadow:
- Neon Snake: drive a glowing snake around a big gridded arena from the overhead view. WASD steers, every lit tile you eat makes you one longer, and hitting a wall ends the run.
- Neon Air Hockey: mouse-controlled mallets with a click power shot, scores lit into the table, and a 4-player mode that opens one wide goal on each side.
- Neon Chess & Checkers: a giant board between two raised decks with lifts. Play a friend or the computer on Easy, Medium or Hard, with full rules (castling, en passant, forced jumps, kinging) and a dismissable move guide for chess.
- Also: Battleship got shorter arches, every game's neon now matches Plinko's glow, and new walkways link all the games.
What players say
@yzykyl · loved it · 2026-10-10 · played 26 min: “I know the plinko is the main game, but my favorite is the checkers/chess one! I tried all the games and I must say it's great to have a few classic games to play in one place. The neon theme looks really pretty too.”
- @yzykyl replied 2026-10-10: “In the battlship one tho, isn't it supposed to be consecutive shots if you are able to get a hit? Also, the snake game loses it's smoothness as the snake gets faster. Just some small stuff tho, great game(s) overall!”
@parz1val · needs work · 2026-10-09 · played 37 min: “The Plinko game looks fun! The neon adds a cool new visual style. I’m a bit confused about the scoring, though. I got a multiplier, but it showed a minus instead. I also really wanted to try the battleship, but the lift doesn’t work.”
- @laidbackgaming (maker) replied 2026-10-09: “Hmm....which lift did not work? The red balls will subtract from your score but after you reach the round goal, the red balls will not subtract until the next round I know there was an issue with the blue lift, but I thought savi fixed it I need to add a tip on how to call the lift down if it is up”
@chizkeykkk · loved it · 2026-10-09 · played 9 min: “This is cool! A giant plinko machine! hahah I like it and I see there would be other games incoming since there is a battleship behind me. I hope to see more classic games here”
- @laidbackgaming (maker) replied 2026-10-09: “I am planning Checkers and Chess next!”
@vladtheimpaler · 2026-10-07 · played 5 min: “Brother, the game looks so cool and is very nostalgic. However, I can't see the balls sometimes when I drop it. Please fix it :)”
- @laidbackgaming (maker) replied 2026-10-08: “Thank you for the feedback! I will definitely work on the lighting as I feel it is a tad too intense at the moment”
- @laidbackgaming (maker) replied 2026-10-08: “Update has been pushed!”
@makeriffic · loved it · 2026-10-07 · played 17 min: “Neon style is actually good for this type of game, because it helps to see where the ball might drop. However, I see the neon lights at too intense for me.”
- @laidbackgaming (maker) replied 2026-10-08: “Thank you for the feedback! I was struggling with the light intensity and ran out of time before I could work on the lights on the actual board. The score goals used to be absolutely unreadable, I'll see how much I dim the lights while they still look lit up”
