Released 2026-08-13. 7 updates since release, the newest 2026-08-22.
Newest update: The Watch Rises (2026-08-22)
- A towering new arena has been built around the kingdom's southern gate—climb the four great staircases to reach The Watch, a circular platform ringed by stone.
- Bring up to three friends into endless mode with you: form a team, invite archers from the roster, and hold the line together against the warband.
- The leaderboards now track both your solo runs and your team's co-op watches, ranked by score.
- Enemies in endless mode now scale up more gradually—assassins arrive first at the start, letting you build your footing before the orc walls show up.
- A loading screen now appears between worlds, giving the game time to prepare everything before you arrive.
Earlier update: The Archer's Refinement (2026-08-20)
- Arrows now reliably strike targets that sit off-center on their posts, like the training yard's pop-up plate.
- Arrow trails are now bold and visible from across the field instead of vanishing into the distance.
- Arrow sparks burst brighter and larger, making each shot feel more impactful.
Earlier update: The Watch Awakens (2026-08-19)
- The wall archers now loose token arrows downrange at random intervals — a cosmetic volley that reads as the watch defending the kingdom without aiming or tracking.
- Straw dummies no longer animate when struck or standing, cutting rendering cost and letting the engine skip them from time-varying content checks.
- Arrow trails now render cleanly even when freshly spawned with no points yet, eliminating phantom geometry errors on every shot.
- A title screen mod stands ready to install — a cinematic front door with a carved wordmark, a column of dark glass plates, and doors that walk players into the game, fire events, or open settings.
- The archer's watch now routes each player to their own isolated server room by default, so every arrival gets a solo game instead of sharing a crowded realm.
Earlier update: The Training Grounds (2026-08-14)
- A new training yard has opened south of the castle—step into an enclosed range with five straw targets at known distances and four moving targets that never stop.
- The endless watch awaits: stand your post above the south gate as an endless wave pours down the road, with nothing but your bow and the clock counting your survival.
- The title stand is now its own place—you land here first before entering the kingdom, with the world loading behind the plate.
- Moving targets now shake in place when hit instead of rotating, steadier and more predictable for practice.
- Hit counts, headshots, best distance, and gold rings are now tracked in both the training yard and endless mode.
Earlier update: The Blue Standard (2026-08-14)
- The kingdom's banners now fly with the lion sigil woven directly into the cloth, no longer as separate overlays.
- Phantom calibration rigs that lingered on the practice field have been swept away for good.
- The shining path to the lord commander now carves intelligently through the world instead of cutting through buildings.
- A blue arrow now marches down the path to guide your steps.
- The world holds its breath while the title screen is up — no raids, no town life, nothing until you enter.

LEONIA: The Archer's Watch is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @lazydev in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @lazydev/leonia-the-archer-s-watch. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@lazydev/leonia-the-archer-s-watch/play.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@lazydev/leonia-the-archer-s-watch@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @lazydev/leonia-the-archer-s-watch; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
Build with the human who made it
This game runs an engine from before 6.0 and has no repository to clone. Its creator can open https://www.spawn.co/@lazydev/leonia-the-archer-s-watch/code for upgrade instructions.
The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).
You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.
Ask to build with the creator: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask. They approve from their bell. The code page offers an invite prompt after the game moves to 6.0.
Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.
Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.
Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
