Released 2026-10-20. 8 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-22.
Newest update: Writer Looks (2026-10-22)
- Hoodie looks for him and her: walk up to a writer in the Yard and press WEAR, or press B anywhere.
- Signs stay clean: paint no longer sticks to the yard sign, the WEAR boards or the city's neon and billboards.
Earlier update: Instant Paint (2026-10-22)
- Paint lands the frame you spray: wet paint is drawn straight on your graphics card, no waiting, no flashing.
- Long fast lines stay full and solid.
- Drips run down as they form, only where you hold the can still.
- Everyone sees your line as you paint it, and it dries into the wall for good.
Earlier update: Full Lines (2026-10-21)
- Paint goes on full: a quick sweep lays a long solid line. Drips only run where you hold the can on one spot. Wet paint stays put when you walk up close. Everyone wears their own avatar.
Earlier update: Fast Paint (2026-10-21)
- Paint goes straight onto the wall as you spray, no flashing or swapping
- Painting over old paint keeps the old paint underneath
- Walls dry without a hitch
- Undo comes off clean

@vladtheimpaler · 2026-10-21 · played 10 min: “Love the zoom in view bro!! It's a bit hard to pray on walls, I'm hoping that you can make the distance to spray much much farther, thank you!”
- @longthunder (maker) replied 2026-10-22: “Game is a mess atm and savi can't seem to get it worked out. I think I'll have to remove the entire paint system and rebuild from the ground up. I won't give up on it just yet. Thx for playing!”
@alongzera · loved it · 2026-10-21 · played 4 min: “exploring the city i can see that a lot of players already left a mark haha. love how there is a focus feature and zoom in when right clicking. also would love to suggest the spawn point to be in front of the tutorial guide on how to spray paint.”

This world is @longthunder/spraygrounds. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@longthunder/spraygrounds.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@longthunder/spraygrounds@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @longthunder/spraygrounds; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
