Earlier update: Tutorial Spotlight (2026-10-19)
- The tutorial now dims the screen and lights only what you need to press, with a bouncing arrow over it. You can now drag cards from your hand onto the board with a mouse, as well as by touch.
Earlier update: Deckfire Goes Mobile (2026-10-18)
- Play a whole match on your phone, upright or sideways
- Drag a card onto a tile, or tap it then tap the tile. Drop it off the board to take it back
- Long-press any card or unit to read it. Pinch to zoom, drag to pan
- Every screen, from the hub to crates and the deck builder, fits a phone and a tablet
- Clearer hand titles, unit stats and tutorial hints on small screens
What players say
@lego · loved it · 2026-10-18 · played 19 min: “I love the card battle system! Is this close to how MtG plays? Haven't tried that one. Anw, thanks for the tutorial! I thought it'd be complicated, but it was actually easy to understand!”
- @lego replied 2026-10-18: “btw I wish I could see the attack order more clearly, like whether it goes left to right and who attacks first, me or the opponent”
- @majid (maker) replied 2026-10-19: “thanks for the feedback, its got some inspiration from MtG, but the main difference is the combat system - it's based on the 7 lanes, units within a lane autobattle each other at the end of each round. that is why you can't choose who you are attacking with units, only instant cards. let me know if that makes sense or not!”

Deckfire is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @majid in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @majid/deckfire. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@majid/deckfire.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@majid/deckfire@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @majid/deckfire; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
