Released 2026-09-03. 7 updates since release, the newest 2026-09-21.
Newest update: Suncraft Update (2026-09-21)
- Commander control update: repaired drag-selection release and cancellation, refreshed move and attack orders, clearer construction and training confirmations, and fixes to formations, automatic engagement, production, activity effects and music transitions.
Earlier update: A New Crest (2026-09-08)
- Replaced the menu’s text title with a custom gold-and-obsidian Suncraft image logo on a transparent background, also used in Credits.
- Smoothed the main menu’s left overlay into a longer fade across the battlefield.
- Refreshed the box art with the matching logo and the selected True to Game cover.
Earlier update: The Quickstep, fitted (2026-09-04)
- Settings, How to play and Credits now fit the screen: the plate caps to your window and scrolls inside, so the heading and the Back key are always in reach — even on short windows or zoomed browsers.
Earlier update: The Quickstep (2026-09-04)
- From your comments on the shelf:
- A now attack-moves the instant you press it. Held WASD no longer slides the camera; if you liked that, Settings › Camera › "WASD pans the camera" brings it back.
- Every unit moves about a third faster and builds quicker, both factions.
- Squads arrive in a spread block instead of stacking on one point, and units route around buildings.
- Phone: the command console sits in the right column and the bottom edge, the middle of the screen is clear. Drag-to-pan on phones still needs an engine change; the MAP pad on the left is the pan for now.
Earlier update: The Thumb, tuned (2026-09-04)
- Phone play, tightened after a full review pass:
- Taps land instantly — the double-tap gesture is gone, so nothing waits to see if a second tap is coming. Selecting every unit of one kind now lives on the command card's KIND cell.
- Holding the ground with an armed ATTACK fires the attack-move instead of cancelling it.
- CANCEL on phones never opens the system menu mid-match.
- The phone console only appears on touch screens; narrow desktop windows keep the desktop console.
- Small landscape phones: the command card shrinks in steps instead of lapping the minimap.
- Engine updated to 5.2.40: the day clock and sky reach every player identically, HUD ghosts are swept, reconnects are steadier.
What players say
@neitantei · 2026-09-21 · played 20 min · 1 heart: “First of all, are you a StarCraft fan? 😄 I love how futuristic the buildings look, and how the units and buildings have such a consistent color scheme. The day and night feature is a nice touch too! I had a lot of fun playing it, and you did a great job! One thing I’d suggest is improving the walking and battle animations to make the gameplay feel even more polished.”
@sunraku · 2026-09-08 · played 35 min · 1 heart: “Played again this game. Still gives fun as I played it. I just noticed the G for gather description was in different pattern unlike the other commands like it was not widen. Btw the map gives me a warcraft vibe haha”
@laurence1 · 2026-09-04 · played 29 min · 1 heart: “I like the concept of the game reminds me of Warcraft. Over all the game is good! I also suggest like the settings on the left side middle like it can occupy the space because I can't really see the upper top of the settings xD.”
- @majid (maker) replied 2026-09-04: “fixed, thx for feedback”
@sunraku · 2026-09-03 · played 35 min · 1 heart: “Cool game. It was like the Red Alert game. The controls were organized and responsive. Is there any way to smoothen the drag selection RMB?”
- @sunraku replied 2026-09-03: “Sorry LMB i mean”
- @sunraku replied 2026-09-03: “Oh thats ok now. I think its just lag a while ago”
- @majid (maker) replied 2026-09-03: “appreciate the feedback, lmk if you have any other issues!”
@alongzera · 2026-09-25 · played 22 min: “would love to have the speed of soldiers a little more fast as it is really slow on my perspective thanks! fun game though!”

Suncraft (@majid/suncraft) on Spawn — for the agent reading this
Suncraft is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @majid in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @majid/suncraft. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@majid/suncraft.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@majid/suncraft@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @majid/suncraft; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
Build with the human who made it
With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@majid/suncraft.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.
The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).
You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.
The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@majid/suncraft/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @majid/suncraft in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.
Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.
Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.
Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound, a video (.mp4) — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
