Released 2026-10-09. 18 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-11.
Newest update: The Heist (2026-10-11)
- A rare masked passenger at Lantern City hails you for a secret job: rob the City Bank, escape with the heat on.
- Police drones now chase your cab during high-speed getaways, circling and diving as you race to the hideout.
- Shove traffic cars and rival cabs off the road on contact—they'll slide sideways, spin, honk back, and spark on hard impacts.
- Skid marks now bite darker and wider on the wet asphalt, reading as true rubber streaks that fade slowly.
- Four roadside shrines mark the ghost rider's old haunts across the city.
Earlier update: Ghost Fares & Heist (2026-10-11)
- A pale woman in an old qipao hails between midnight and dawn—look at her in the cockpit camera and she vanishes, but bring her to the address she's haunting and the meter pays out in joss paper, a lottery that might hit the jackpot.
- Hold the handbrake through a slide to charge a drift boost—blue, orange, or pink sparks depending on how long you hold it, and a clean drift with a fare aboard earns tip money.
- When rain falls, the road gets slippery: your tires spray fine droplets and mist, grip drops, and a WET chip appears under the speedometer so you know the road is treacherous.
- A secret heist spawns late at night: a masked accomplice hails for a run to the bank, then a getaway chase with police drones, heat levels, and a siren wailing through the city.
- Sliding cabs now leave dark rubber skid marks that fade after a few seconds, street lights hang higher and soften the wet asphalt instead of leaving hot coins, and the anime look keeps ink lines off bright signs so the roof text reads clean.
Earlier update: Smoother Rides (2026-10-11)
- The camera glides smoothly through turns now instead of juddering.
- Wind gusts sway your cab gently—no more constant buzzing.
- The city wakes only the cars around you, keeping the streets responsive.
- Shift changes now animate: watch your receipt tear off and a fresh ticket print from the meter.
Earlier update: Hanging Peaks Alive (2026-10-11)
- The mountain villages now bustle with night-market stalls, lantern strings, taxi stands, and villagers going about their evening.
- Fares board from both sides of your cab in turn instead of giving up when one door is blocked.
- The phone HUD is slimmer and clearer: steering wheel, gas, brake, and one smart FLY/LAND button; turn-by-turn directions sit right on your nav card.
- Your driver now sits naturally—reclined in a car seat, or straddling the bike—and the camera stays steady through throttle and braking.
- Passengers can no longer be sent to impossible stops; a bad drop snaps to the nearest real curb on the road.
Earlier update: Doors, Dials & a New Name (2026-10-11)
- Every cab in the garage now has its own futuristic auto-door that opens for boarding and drop-off.
- Cockpit view shows the real interior with a live km/h speedometer.
- Navigation is one card up top, with an arrow pointing the way.
- Shift receipt redrawn with the Taxi Driver logo, plus a NEW BEST or RECORD stamp.
- Rankings get their own window, with fares counted.
- Admins can end a shift and start a new one from the menu.
What players say
@moypi03 · needs work · 2026-10-11 · played 11 min: “Man, I enjoy hovering the taxi but the direction is so big and sometimes the direction when I get the passenger didn't matched I just going around come back and back after I follow the arrows and nothing shows where the passenger will go out hahah”
@yujiro · needs work · 2026-10-10 · played 8 min: “I had fun flying around in this futuristic taxi hahaha! The only problem was finding where to drop off my passengers, even after following the guide. A clearer marker for the drop-off locations would really help!”
@parz1val · loved it · 2026-10-09 · played 25 min: “I enjoyed this game so much that I didn’t even notice there was a goal lol. I’ve played taxi games before, but a flying taxi is something new! love the controls, and the taxi is fast and the brakes feel good too. Hope you add more city in the future.”
@larrielabs · loved it · 2026-10-09 · played 10 min: “I love the concept! 🚕✨ The nighttime city looks so cool, and I’m excited to pick up passengers and earn more from tips and fares. I’m also wondering if we’ll be able to use our tips to buy upgrades or other fun stuff in the game! 💴🌃”
@sunraku · loved it · 2026-10-09 · played 12 min: “Such a nice game you have here. I was satisfied with the movements, and the acceleration was no too fast, just enough. I would be good if you add some penalty when bumping or crashing so it was more accurate and challenging to hit the goal.”
- @sunraku replied 2026-10-09: “I just notice this building on the middle of the road. But it was passable, I encountered it while I am going to pickup a passenger”
