Released 2026-10-13. 9 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-13.
Newest update: RC Drive (2026-10-13)
- New AUTO / RC switch under FIGHT: in RC you drive your machine yourself (W/S forward and back, A/D turn, touch pads on phones) while your weapons still fire on their own. Epic copies can now merge into a matching part even when you already have an epic: +1 level and rarity up to Rare.
Earlier update: Pocket Workshop (2026-10-13)
- Phones and small embeds get a tabbed workshop: Shop, Build, Machine and Board, one sheet at a time with FIGHT always in reach. Flamers can't burn through parts anymore, so the part in front shields the one behind it (Napalm too). Enemy spinners and saws now spin in fights. Tooltips explain Sensor and Battery pulses. Reroll shows its cost in the corner.
Earlier update: Slots & Sparks (2026-10-13)
- Weapon slots: start with 2, buy more for 5 scrap up to 6. The spinner hits harder and takes 2 slots. Flamer damage moved into the lingering burn, so it no longer snaps weapons off in one pass. Battery boost trimmed. Sudden death now pits you mostly against other players' machines, with repeats spaced out. Part tooltips follow your mouse and read as short, clear points.
Earlier update: Walk Away Rich (2026-10-13)
- Retire button beside Fight: tap twice to end a run and bank your trophies or sudden-death streak
- The end card has a This Run / Leaderboard tab and a proper scrollbar
- Late-round yard bots spend all their scrap on extra plates and weapons
Earlier update: Fair ladder, one seat each (2026-10-13)
- Runs board shows lives left and breaks trophy ties with them. One leaderboard row per pilot on each board, your best. Rival machines enter the pool only after a win or a sudden death finish, one per pilot, and you only meet rivals from your own round range. Champions only appear from round 10. Twenty yard bot designs now, mirrored and with mixed brains.
What players say
@flickaboo · loved it · 2026-10-14 · played 36 min: “Movement feels smooth, and I really like the idea of building your own combat machine and watching it fight other players' creations. I'd love to play more and get creative with different builds! 🔥”
@kaya · loved it · 2026-10-13 · played 28 min: “okay this is just a banger lol. took me a while to understand how building works, but i eventually got a bot that i was satisfied with. also, it took me a while to find the description for each part(it was at the bottom), would be nice if there was”
- @kaya replied 2026-10-13: “---a way to read the description without needing to scroll down. also, your bot was hella OP lmao i cant beat it!!”
- @medivhus (maker) replied 2026-10-13: “Its the epic flamethrower + battery booth, I already nerfed flamethrowers, might need a battery nerf too xD WIll look into improving the description overview right away”
- @medivhus (maker) replied 2026-10-13: “Update, fixed the UI up more, should be mcuh easier to read, also flamethrowers and batteries got their nerf right away, so taco bell supreme should be less OP”
@lego · loved it · 2026-10-13 · played 14 min: “We got BattleBots on Spawn, baby! This is actually pretty fun. Tho I'm still figuring out how to build a strong bot, and I kinda wish I could control it during fights. But just watching and rooting for your bot to win is pretty fun too!”
- @medivhus (maker) replied 2026-10-13: “Might to a remote control mode next, also needs more parts to use, glad you enjoyed it!”

Scrapline is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @medivhus in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @medivhus/scrapline. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@medivhus/scrapline.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@medivhus/scrapline@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @medivhus/scrapline; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
