Released 2026-10-23. 3 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-24.
Newest update: The New City (2026-10-24)
- A whole new city to race: winding hill roads, skyways, bridges, a tunnel, downtown, docks and the industrial district. Smooth skyway junctions with open corners, cars land back on the nearest road if they fall off, and rap music in the garage and car shop.
Earlier update: SHADOW goes Lamborghini (2026-10-23)
- SHADOW, the exclusive hypercar, is rebuilt as a raging-bull wedge: Y headlights and taillights, giant side intakes, hexagon exhausts, slatted engine cover and a big wing. Smoother driving in free roam too.
What players say
@yujiro · loved it · 2026-10-24 · played 8 min · 1 heart: “I had a lot of fun racing, but I wish the races were longer! Every time I started one, it ended after just two turns. It would be cool to choose different race modes and have more maps to explore.”
@parz1val · loved it · 2026-10-23 · played 15 min · 1 heart: “Really love the drift controls and free upgrades XD, the music really hypes up the vibe. Hope you add more courses or cities to drive around in!”
@larrielabs · loved it · 2026-10-24 · played 4 min: “ヾ(•ω•`)o I really love the starter car options! They all look so cool, it's hard to decide, and the night city vibe looks so cool, too! 🌃 Tho, I can't seem to see my car, so I'm not sure if I'm missing something.”
- @larrielabs replied 2026-10-24: “Aside from that, I'd love to see more of the city while driving around soon! 🏎️ ~”

Need More Speed is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @nfsfan in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @nfsfan/need-more-speed. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@nfsfan/need-more-speed.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@nfsfan/need-more-speed@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @nfsfan/need-more-speed; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
