- Co-op boss rooms now wait until the whole party is inside before the warden wakes, and a player left outside can pass the shut gate to rejoin the fight. Parrying a common monster kills it in one riposte. The city's dogs, cows, rats, crows, sadhus, aghoris and river bathers now die to one cut and crumble into ash, then return once you've moved on.
Earlier update: Walk Together (2026-10-13)
- Join a friend's lobby and you walk their penance: their slain bosses, their shrine, and you rise at their side.
- A boss you've slain stays slain in every lobby you enter; its gates stay open, so the road back is always clear.
- A landed parry now freezes the moment, bursts brass sparks and cuts back with your heavy swing.
- The main menu fits every screen.
Earlier update: Parry and Air Dash (2026-10-13)
- Middle mouse or L parries: catch a blow in a tight window and it rings off your blade, staggering the attacker.
- Dash in mid-air once per jump.
- Your swings follow A/D facing, not the cursor.
- The camera holds steady through double jumps.
- After the credits, one button lets the cycle begin anew.

The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @slop/ashes-of-the-ghat; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
