Newest update: Broken Spells (2026-10-24)
- Cancel a Chain Lightning or Telekinesis and a struck-through spell card tells you it fizzled
- Vote for 11-round matches, or up to 6 bots
- Shadow Bolts chain now: hitting a marked warlock keeps the mark going
- Frost Shard costs 8 gold
- Fixed a rare HUD crash
Earlier update: Heroes and Hooks (2026-10-18)
- Round one is a lobby: pick your hero from portraits, your free left-click spell and your win emote
- Vote on how many bots join, right beside the round count
- Grappling Hook: grab a warlock to pull in, hook a pillar to swing, press again to cut the rope
- Ember Leech now heals a share of the damage you deal; Boomerang flies faster, Fire Nova casts quicker
- Round end shows everyone's damage, and the top dealer gets +3 gold

Earlier update: Warlock Update (2026-10-11)
- Walk into an empty arena and you'll face a fresh match from round one, not leftover bots.
- Ember Orbit's ring now lingers for 10 seconds, giving you more time to chain your casts.
Earlier update: Warlock (2026-10-11)
- Winners now celebrate on a grand champion screen for 20 seconds with emotes—wave, cheer, dance, cry, and more—while losers slump and sob at their feet.
- Bots now navigate around raised pillars and hex blocks instead of grinding into them, and spells ricochet off these obstacles: fireballs burst on impact, boomerangs carom off for fresh throws.
- When only bots remain fighting, sudden death
- Tar now arcs through the air as a lob before splatting into a pool that slows you to a third speed and makes shoves hit 80% harder, with a wider radius and longer duration.
- Damage numbers now appear as bright, chunky embers that punch in readable from the first frame, and you hear your hero's pain cry on your own screen when hit.

Warlock is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @spam in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @spam/warlock. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@spam/warlock.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@spam/warlock@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @spam/warlock; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
