From the maker
Following the news that Spawn games became playable on X (Twitter), I immediately thought of the endless fake mobile game ads that you get 700 times per day on X. I thought, what if you could actually just play those games right on X and they were actually good?
Enter: Clickbait Arcade.
The goal is to subvert the mobile game ads you see with actually fun versions that don't bog you down with endless ads.

Released 2026-10-09. 9 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-17.
Newest update: Neon Arcade (2026-10-17)
- The game menu is now a neon arcade: a glowing cabinet for every game, a HI-SCORES screen, coin bleeps. Castle Defense ranked is now endless: one castle, your towers stay, waves never stop. Easier-to-read level buttons.
Earlier update: Castle Defense: Balanced Towers (2026-10-15)
- Towers now cap at $70, so you can reach a LV5 tower in one level. Cannon toned down, archer stronger, and frost 4-5 freeze longer and make enemies take more damage. Later levels bring bigger, tougher swarms. The win and fail screens now show what each tower type did: its share of the damage and its kills.
Earlier update: Strike Wing (2026-10-15)
- Alien Horde has three lanes: break the pod ladder on the left for upgrades, gates on the right.
- Pods slide toward you on a belt and get tougher as you climb.
- Fill the strike meter and call a wing of starfighters to wipe the road, once a level.
- Red lasers that shift colour as you power up, and a real mothership health bar.
Earlier update: Crowd Rush hazards + level tracking (2026-10-15)
- Crowd Rush: new doors, pits and green recruits; hazards spaced so you can react; fairer near misses; numbers grow steadier; army fights resolve fast. Every game now tracks levels cleared.
Earlier update: Made Crowd Rush more engaging (2026-10-13)
- Update Crowd Rush's current pickup cue and record the door-loss follow-up.

This world is @taiyakidaydream/clickbait-arcade. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@taiyakidaydream/clickbait-arcade.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@taiyakidaydream/clickbait-arcade@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @taiyakidaydream/clickbait-arcade; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
