Newest update: Deeper Waters (2026-10-08)
- The depths hold new secrets — rare fish now surface only under moonlight and fog.
- Anglers can finally read the water's moods through atmospheric changes that signal what's biting.
- A mysterious figure keeps watch over the Hall of Records, adding an air of reverence to your greatest catches.
Earlier update: Cast Adjustment (2026-10-08)
- The angler now stands a bit further back on the pier, giving you more room to cast.
- When a fish bites, the prompt now says SPACE instead of Strike — press it to reel in your catch.
Earlier update: Keeper's Blessing (2026-10-08)
- The Keepers now grant you blessings that improve your luck with rare catches.
- Watch for shimmering auras around the Keepers when they're ready to bless you.
- Each blessing lasts through your fishing session, making legendary fish more likely to bite.
Earlier update: Frostmere Gate (2026-10-08)
- Frostmere gate in snow and icicles, thinner lava smoke, softer blizzard, fish visible on the line, faster shore loading
Earlier update: Deeper Waters (2026-10-04)
- You can now dive down and explore an underwater basin beneath the main lake, swimming through the depths.
- New lakebed flora and props create a living ecosystem to discover as you swim.
- The underwater world has its own fish species waiting to be caught by those brave enough to dive.
What players say
@neitantei · needs work · 2026-10-08 · played 20 min: “The controls, graphics, and gameplay feel really smooth! I did fall into the Frostmere fishing hole and couldn’t get back out. 😅 Maybe add a climb-up button so players don’t get stuck.”
@sunraku · loved it · 2026-10-04 · played 14 min: “Such a relaxing vibe in this game. Catching a fish and selling it to the vendor. There are lot of fishes to catch and I was thriving to catch all of them. This game was so addicting. Looking forward to my catches.”
- @sunraku replied 2026-10-04: “I just notice that the key for catching a fish which was F-key was prone to accidental trigger of throwing the fish line due to it was the same key used for leveler used for catching the fish.”
@larrielabs · loved it · 2026-10-04 · played 22 min: “This game feels so peaceful! 🎣🌿✨ I love the quiet lake setting and how relaxing it feels just walking around and fishing. It feels like a nice little escape from everything.🐟💚”
@vladtheimpaler · 2026-10-04 · played 17 min: “Brother, the game looks pretty good and the fishing mechanic is awesome! I recommend putting an instruction for new players and also instead of walking on the water, I recommend putting a swimming animation hehe thank you! :)”

Quiet Waters is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @webcore in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @webcore/quiet-waters. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@webcore/quiet-waters.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@webcore/quiet-waters@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @webcore/quiet-waters; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
