What players say
@chocopuff · 2026-09-30 · played 3 min: “Really good production values. You created a great atmosphere.”
- @winterkaust (maker) replied 2026-09-30: “Thank you. I hope you continue to explore the game for what it offers ^^”
@chizkeykkk · needs work · 2026-09-29 · played 14 min: “The art style was cool! The first chapter got me intrigued, and I liked the turn-based fights even though landing hits was chance-based. I think more engaging story animations would make it even better. ❤️”
- @winterkaust (maker) replied 2026-09-30: “I can work on the animations, the whole reason for releasing it now was for this feedback. I want to know what to improve on the game, and this is one piece that helps :)”
@parz1val · 2026-09-29 · played 18 min: “I really like the art and the overall look of the game. I’m not really into story games though, and I’m still a bit confused about the main goal.”
- @winterkaust (maker) replied 2026-09-30: “Thank you for testing it out. There technically is no main goal. The game can go on for as long or as short as you want, and you can create up to five different characters. The game only really ends when your character dies. It cannot come back. It's a choose your own adventure - which includes choosing when the story ends.”

UNTOLD is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @winterkaust in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @winterkaust/untold. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@winterkaust/untold/play.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@winterkaust/untold@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @winterkaust/untold; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
