44 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-29.
Earlier update: The Camp Awakens (2026-10-02)
- Between roads, build the hearth and forge to send your next company out stronger—gold from every victory now carries home and buys permanent upgrades.
- The Astral Guide walks your first road with you, one chapter at a time, then steps back—press ✦ GUIDE anytime to call her back.
- Inspect your heroes' full satchel beside their details without closing the sheet—equip, unequip, and swap relics mid-look.
- Battle biomes now breathe with life: the arena floor sits proud above the land, wheels turn on props, bells swing, and the earth shifts by biome.
- One screen, no scroll—every screen fits in one frame; drawers slide over the page without pushing it, and the camera never jumps.
Earlier update: Embers & Wonders (2026-09-23)
- Ten named story arcs unfold at rest — each trio of heroes has their own three-chapter campfire bond, unlocked by shared victories.
- The road now holds twenty authored encounters: healing sanctuaries, merchant stands, trials of skill, and rare mythic hunts — every choice shows its cost before you decide.
- Campfire stories grant permanent combat boons tied to each bond's theme — better shields, faster swings, sharper abilities — stacking only as high as the story's rank.
- Three optional trials await: a quiet duel at act one, a colossus guardian at act two, and an unreal court in the deep — each drops ranked gear and battle-long blessings on victory.
Earlier update: The Clarity Update (2026-09-23)
- Item details now display with a dedicated header and close button for clearer inspection.
- Modal scrolling behavior fixed — item information stays readable across all screen sizes and devices.
Earlier update: The Archon's Ascension (2026-09-23)
- The game's visual presentation has been refined and optimized for a cleaner, more immersive experience across all stages of your run.
Earlier update: The Astral Stage (2026-09-22)
- Witness your company in full 3D glory — 14 hand-crafted Archons now fight in a living, breathing battlefield with dynamic lighting and motion.
- Your heroes move with intention: weighted breathing, character-specific rhythms, and signature poses that bring personality to every stance and strike.
- The arena itself comes alive with impact effects — sparks burst from metal, splinters scatter from bone, and spells crackle with arcane energy as combat unfolds.
- A refined dock system remembers your layout preferences — fold, pin, and resize your company roster exactly how you want it, and it stays that way across runs.
- The interface speaks clearly: one shared next-state signal guides your decisions, and every surface responds smoothly across phone and desktop without visual clutter.

- @kaya replied 2026-10-02: “some text are too small for me to read though. i sent the screenshot in the chat”
- @annias (maker) replied 2026-10-02: “Thanks Kaya I'll have a look at the small text <3”
@moypi03 · 2026-09-23 · played 14 min · 1 heart: “Love the gameplay, when I start playing I'm just click anything that I saw but when the game progress I get it and the sounds its like you are playing a classic or old school game like a retro version hehehe will be back again”
- @annias (maker) replied 2026-09-23: “Totally awesome, thank you for sharing that with me. I look forward to seeing if you enjoy all the new stuff I've been working on. Thanks again, so much I am grateful”
@alongzera · 2026-09-22 · played 1 hr 3 min · 1 heart: “oh i love the updates it gives more life to the game! kudos bro”

@kaya · 2026-09-21 · played 1 hr 26 min · 1 heart: “Just beat the Astral Archon! Idk if you can see but all my characters had pretty good gear, so I might have spent a bit too much time reading through all the items in the shop just to min-max LOL. There were some terms I didn't understand(IRON, SALT, COIN), but I eventually learned about them from the Stats and Words section so it has definitely helped! I'm not sure if I was in the hidden campaign, but after the Astral Archons, I was able to face against a boss, so I might be in the right track!”
- @annias (maker) replied 2026-09-23: “You're awesome, thank you so much for trying it out and the detailed feedback, ,As I mentioned in afew other comments, I've been working hard to improve it and I hope that it will still bring some joy into your life. cheers <3”
@yzykyl · 2026-09-21 · played 41 min · 1 heart: “Finished act 1 with the whole team on full HP! I think that was just the beginning tho. I'm having a lot of fun with this auto-battler because even if the fights are automatic, the choices seem to weigh heavy on you and you feel like one false move could ruin your team. I'm excited to see how far I can take my team! One issue I have tho is that the UI may seem overwhelming with the different font sizes and they seem very clustered and might be disorienting for some.”
- @annias (maker) replied 2026-09-23: “I appreciate the feedback! I have gone back through and made a lot of adjustments, tutorial / word help, and various improvements. Hope you give it another go and that it's up to par <3”

Astral Archons (@annias/astral-archons) on Spawn — for the agent reading this
Astral Archons is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @annias in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @annias/astral-archons. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@annias/astral-archons.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@annias/astral-archons@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @annias/astral-archons; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
Build with the human who made it
With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@annias/astral-archons.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.
The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).
You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.
The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@annias/astral-archons/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @annias/astral-archons in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.
Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.
Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.
Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound, a video (.mp4) — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
Build, test, and share
