Released 2026-10-04. 6 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-09.
Newest update: Bot Matches & Map Vote (2026-10-09)
- Matches with bots: every match is now 4 hunters. Bots fill every empty seat, so you always have a fight, and when a real player joins they take over a bot's seat and score.
- First to 15 kills wins.
- Map vote at the end of every match: Derelict Station, Chozo Ruins or Pipeline.
- Gunship menu: click a map to launch (or press 1/2/3).
- Derelict Station: solid hull ribs and edge collision, smoother Morph Ball camera along the outer wall.
- Map vote and V menu buttons respond to the mouse.
Earlier update: Chozo Ruins Redesigned (2026-10-06)
- The iconic neon obelisk has been removed from High Ground's approach—the ramp stands bare and commanding.
- Half of High Ground's signature neon strips have been replaced with warm golden light, shifting the arena's aesthetic from electric to ancient.
- The bridge now spans two carved sandstone piers instead of its previous supports, giving it the weight of weathered architecture.
Earlier update: High Ground: Chozo Ruins Remade (2026-10-05)
- Chozo Ruins is rebuilt from the ground up as High Ground, inspired by Metroid Prime Hunters.
- A deep sandstone canyon walled in by tall, natural-looking cliffs.
- An open lower court of thick stone pillars, rising in 3.2 m ledges you climb with the Space Jump to a single fortress sniper nest at the top.
- Chozo arches, hard-light screens, archive consoles and obelisks dress every upper tier.
- A Morph Ball tunnel under the ledges ends in an updraft that launches you onto the high terrace.
- New spawn points, missile and energy pickups placed across every level.
- Morph Ball: you can no longer stand up inside a tunnel, vent or duct. With a roof overhead you stay in the ball, on every map.
Earlier update: PvP Portals Trailer (2026-10-05)
- The new trailer now plays on the game page: a flyover of the frigate deck, the PvP portals, Power Beam, Charge Beam, missiles and the Morph Ball.
Earlier update: PvP Portals (2026-10-05)
- New trailer on the game page: a flyover of the frigate deck, the PvP portals, Power Beam, Charge Beam, missiles and the Morph Ball.
- Smoother Morph Ball camera and rolling.
- Derelict Station's planet now always loads as a planet.

@neitantei · loved it · 2026-10-04 · played 17 min · 1 heart: “I was surprised when I found out you can turn into a ball lol 😂 It was unexpected, but it fits the map really well and lets you reposition when you’re at a disadvantage. I’m loving the charge fire too. Great job!”

@chizkeykkk · needs work · 2026-10-04 · played 10 min · 1 heart: “The game was fun! 😂 The shooting mechanics were unique, and the bots in the tutorial were strong so I had fun playing alone with them. I hope you add more maps for practice too, or options to have more enemies.”
- @charizard879 (maker) replied 2026-10-04: “Thank you very much; I'll take the advice on board to keep improving the game :D”
- @chizkeykkk replied 2026-10-04: “@charizard879 can't wait to see more from your updates!”
@moypi03 · needs work · 2026-10-15 · played 4 min: “I love how the movement feels so smooth and there's a morph ball instead of sprinting in this game that's a unique gamestyle hahah but I notice the RMB is nonsense because it hard to hit and I just spamming the LMB or advancing my firing to win it”
@lego · needs work · 2026-10-09 · played 12 min: “This looks pretty fun, the ball transformation is epic lol. I was ready to jump into a match, but the bots just stood there doing nothing...”
@jeon · 2026-10-06 · played 23 min: “Nice game bro! I like that the portal lets me choose what mode I wanna play 😂. Having different ways to play keeps every match feeling fresh and makes me wanna try all the other modes too haha!”

Prime Hunters Arena is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @charizard879 in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @charizard879/prime-hunters-arena. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@charizard879/prime-hunters-arena.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@charizard879/prime-hunters-arena@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @charizard879/prime-hunters-arena; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
Build with the human who made it
With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@charizard879/prime-hunters-arena.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.
The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).
You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.
The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@charizard879/prime-hunters-arena/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @charizard879/prime-hunters-arena in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.
Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.
Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.
Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
Build, test, and share
Publish when the game is ready for players. Share its play link so friends can join.
