GunForge
A game by @chocopuff on Spawn.
Genre: Action, Shooter, Arena Brawler
Swap primitive weapon parts at the forge and watch your FPS rig and stats change instantly.
From the maker
I would love your feed back on the type of guns and weapons you would like to see. The theme is going to be a arcane-punk aesthetic for a fantasy based FPS. Think guns not powered by gunpowder but by magic.

Released 2026-09-24. 18 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-17.
Newest update: The Elder Wyrm Wakes (2026-10-17)
- The Dragon's Maw has a new elder wyrm. The longer you last, the meaner it gets: at 60s it wakes with a ground slam, a tail spin you have to jump and a wing gust that blows you out of cover. At 150s it hits molten fury: twin crossing beams, meteor rain and more lava. The HUD names each phase.
Earlier update: Bosses Bite Back (2026-10-16)
- Every mission boss got a full effects pass: slams, roars, lasers and deaths now land with fire, shockwaves and sound
- Bosses fire ranged shots between their special moves, and stone cover blocks them
- Boss arenas have new ruins, walls and pillars to duck behind
- PvP arenas have ammo satchels, and fallen bots drop ammo
- Kills throw bodies harder, right on your shot
Earlier update: Title Screen (2026-10-16)
- GunForge now opens on a title screen with the box logo: Play drops you into the Guild Hall with a quick tour, Tutorial runs Canopy Breach. The walk-through arches are gone.
Earlier update: The Front Door (2026-10-16)
- Walk into the Guild Hall and pick: Tutorial arch rides you into Canopy Breach, Play arch drops you into the Hall
- Missions start when you walk in, with a quiet moment to gear up first
- Every zone has its own music, a calm Hall theme and fantasy sound effects
- Ammo drops, health regen and painted courier satchels replace the old stations
- Footsteps on every surface, an easier Canopy finale, and walnut-and-gold high-tier guns
Earlier update: Duel Yard & Painted Gorge (2026-10-15)
- A 1v1 Duel Yard now stands in the Guild Hall courtyard: step on a plate, wait for a rival, 3-2-1 DRAW, first to 3 kills wins. The Hall's cliffs dropped into a misty gorge with a hand-painted horizon of peaks and a distant city that drifts slowly, day and night. Range flash effects cleaned up.

@yujiro · needs work · 2026-10-16 · played 7 min · 1 heart: “The missions were fun, and shooting those fast-moving creatures was a real challenge. One thing I noticed was that my weapons overlapped each other, making them look a bit cluttered.”
- @chocopuff (maker) replied 2026-10-16: “Fixed the gun bug! Thanks for trying it out.”
@makeriffic · loved it · 2026-09-29 · played 48 min · 1 heart: “Yo, I like the gun sounds, it feels so satisfying to shoot. I have tried the proving ground, but I lost on the wave 5 boss because I ran out of ammo on both the rifle and revolver lol.”
- @chocopuff (maker) replied 2026-09-29: “hahah yeah i need to tweak some ammo settings”
- @makeriffic replied 2026-10-15: “@chocopuff Now I tried the canopy breach and man they were swarming me to the point I can't see the casters anymore. Good thing I already upgraded my weapons and somehow cleared that mission. Almost didn't made it lol. What a fun swarm tho!”
@flickaboo · loved it · 2026-10-20 · played 21 min: “This game is fun! Enemies, pickups, and the environment are easy to tell apart. Even during combat, everything stays clear. Nice work! 🎮”
- @chocopuff (maker) replied 2026-10-20: “Thanks man! Trying to make the game feel good to play, still a lot of polish I need to put in!”

GunForge (@chocopuff/gunforge) on Spawn — for the agent reading this
GunForge is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @chocopuff in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @chocopuff/gunforge. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@chocopuff/gunforge.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page, and a person's browser plays it with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@chocopuff/gunforge@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
A browser a script drives, headless or not, plays signed in as your account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/login-link with {"next":"/@chocopuff/gunforge@dev"} answers a one-use URL that signs that browser in.
Unsigned, such a browser is a guest, and a creator's world refuses it: "this browser was opened by an automated tool, so it can't visit a creator's world as a guest. sign in, or open the link in a browser you use yourself." Its maker can ask Spawn to let their own automated tool in by name.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @chocopuff/gunforge; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
Build with the human who made it
With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@chocopuff/gunforge.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.
The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).
You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.
The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@chocopuff/gunforge/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @chocopuff/gunforge in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.
Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.
Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.
Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound, a video (.mp4) — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
Build, test, and share
Publish when the game is ready for players. Share its play link so friends can join.
