Released 2026-10-03. 4 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-03.
Newest update: The King's Labyrinth (2026-10-03)
- The King's warped castle home in the meadow corner, a Caverns-of-Time cave mouth, a wandering EVE and the King's roaming crystal orb. The radio now waits until you step into the maze, so you can hear the King talking.
Earlier update: Recursive Labyrinth (2026-10-03)
- MEQ RADIO 1.10.4: pause hides the cover video and play brings it back; the playlist's big/small button sets the pop-out size on every screen.
Earlier update: Small Mode Phones (2026-10-03)
- MEQ RADIO 1.10.1: phones and smaller screens open the video pop-out and playlist in small mode, anchored above the music deck.
Earlier update: Gate Songs Video (2026-10-03)
- Caught and gate songs always play a song with video. Gate video sits just above the music deck, small size on screens under 1920. Fixes for getting stuck after the minotaur.
What players say
@kaya · loved it · 2026-10-03 · played 17 min: “Hahahahaha this was hilarious man. the maze was so deep and i was trying to find the entrance to the 2nd section but the music is making me lose focus LOL. This was very challenging in its own way and i laughed out loud when i turned it off”
- @kaya replied 2026-10-03: “cause the minotaur didnt like that and the game sent me a warning XD should've kept my wall punches too, i thought they were infinite. dang it! good stuff dude lol”
- @cybershrapnel (maker) replied 2026-10-03: “lol u made laugh, that's what i was going for :P lol”
@vladtheimpaler · 2026-10-03 · played 5 min: “Brother, the game is amazing and I would love to play it more but in order to respawn, I need to listen to the song, I just think that it would kill the momentum to play the game more :)”
- @cybershrapnel (maker) replied 2026-10-03: “That's the poin though, To make you listen to the music lol :P haha I lowered the respawn time to 1 minute, I'll adjust it to 30 seconds, and make the gate walls only require 1 minute, will that be better lol”
@larrielabs · loved it · 2026-10-03 · played 12 min: “The maze looks so cool, and the music fits the atmosphere so well! 👀✨ I even tried waking the Minotaur lol! 😂 I feel like there’s still a lot more to add outside the maze, and I’m looking forward to seeing what gets comes in future updates! 🌙🗺️✨”
@sunraku · loved it · 2026-10-03 · played 11 min: “Hey bro! I like the setup since I'd get to hear the MEQ music + there is a maze to play. Maybe you can just crop more the video border cause there is a huge black space vs the main video playing. Or you can also provide minimize button.”
- @sunraku replied 2026-10-03: “It will be also good if we can move that video player somewhere around the screen. And as for the maze, you can provide a flashlight or any improvement in the lightings so its not too dark on some trap sides.”
- @cybershrapnel (maker) replied 2026-10-03: “you can move the pop out by right clicking and dragging it, you can click it to pop it back in to the playlist view. I have not seen the issue you are having. screenshot and device type please. and i dunno whats up with the lighting, it's not that way in dev world. I will take a look later.”
- @cybershrapnel (maker) replied 2026-10-03: “i added a lantern, press L to turn on. still couldn't find the video issue. don't see that one on my end.”

@jeon · needs work · 2026-10-03 · played 2 min: “Damn bro, Im surprised by the gameplay! I really like being able to punch the walls haha. The BGM feels a little too loud for me tho, maybe its just my preference. Still looking forward to future updates!”
- @cybershrapnel (maker) replied 2026-10-03: “climb a wall the vulcher will get you, and every ten levels you can knock humpty dumpty off the wall to get infinite punch wall break for a while, and 100 energy gives you wall smash walk for a minute (use it to knock the chess guy and humpty off the wall). you should be able to set the fx in both the spawn ui and in the meq radio ui, let know though, I always just set mine kinda low so I don't notice much. I usually have music playing over it.”

MEQ Radio Recursive Labyrinth is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @cybershrapnel in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @cybershrapnel/meq-radio-recursive-labyrinth. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@cybershrapnel/meq-radio-recursive-labyrinth.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@cybershrapnel/meq-radio-recursive-labyrinth@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @cybershrapnel/meq-radio-recursive-labyrinth; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
Build with the human who made it
With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@cybershrapnel/meq-radio-recursive-labyrinth.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.
The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).
You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.
The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@cybershrapnel/meq-radio-recursive-labyrinth/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @cybershrapnel/meq-radio-recursive-labyrinth in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.
Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.
Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.
Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
