Newest update: Skip The Opening (2026-10-01)
  • The opening plays once on every arrival; SKIP ends it on the first click.
Earlier update: Found Tape (2026-10-01)
  • The Found Tape trailer now plays on the game's page. Click CLASSIFIED on the title tape to watch it in game, EJECT to get back to your deck.
Earlier update: Found Tape (2026-10-01)
  • VHS title: six cassette decks and a bullet-holed title tape. Click CLASSIFIED to watch the Found Tape trailer, EJECT anytime to get back to your deck.
Earlier update: The Supply Reel (2026-09-05)
  • THE SUPPLY REEL. Tape 02 grows a seventh reel — MEN, MARKS AND OATHS — what the three crates are, what each metal and sigil does to a card, and how to give an oath. Pause a reel and hit play: it picks up where you stopped instead of rewinding.
Earlier update: THE POT DECIDES (2026-09-04)
  • A War is decided by the three cards each side turns over — majority takes the pot, an even split goes to War again. The pair that opened it no longer votes, so two of three is a win, as the tape always said. A War you can't raise with a card is refused before you spend the card, and an even pot with nothing left to raise goes to the House instead of going on forever.

  • @makeriffic · 2026-09-11 · played 1 hr 15 min · 1 heart: “Out of all the modes/tapes, I think butcher mode is my favorite as I don't run out of cards and last higher rounds as I get more upgrades.”

  • @makeriffic · 2026-09-04 · played 1 hr 15 min · 1 heart: “I did finish round 1 and got Ironclad and Twin as my men, I haven't really fully understood how to play the game properly, I was just slammin a higher card than what the house choses to drop and every time I had a same card, I would almost declare war lol, the music and visuals are very satisfying on declaring a war I really like it. I might play this game for a while to understand it.”

    • @foggydev (maker) replied 2026-09-05: “Hey hey, this last update's for you. Updated the tutorial videos - specifically, marks, men, oaths, sigils, etc.”
  • @mistarpudding · 2026-08-31 · played 39 min · 1 heart: “game looks pretty sick. visuals are crazy good! this game really needs a tutorial though. i haven't grasped the whole mechanic just yet. i just throw whatever card that is higher than theirs.”

    • @foggydev (maker) replied 2026-08-31: “Going to be polishing and updating. I'll get you sorted my friend! Thanks!”
    • @mistarpudding replied 2026-09-04: “hey man! I FINALLY GET IT NOW!! the game is actually so challenging its so fun LOL. your tutorial was very very helpful, and thats exactly what i needed! (it looked sick too!) i had to restrategize and manage how i throw my cards, and how i accept War offers. visuals are still crazy good! only tried Standard for now, but Ill try other tapes next time! cool game bro!!!”
  • @mpi · 2026-10-01 · played 6 min: “Love the aesthetics and animations on the game. Maybe feels a little too easy since I can see the enemy cards and pick from my hand to counter perfectly. Terminology in the store had me a little confused. Wasn't sure what the items did.”

  • @makeriffic · 2026-09-09 · played 1 hr 15 min: “Played the game again and got 5 of the men on my lineup, which I am not sure what it does. I got until rnd 2 with 5 battles won before all of my deck has been taken. Honestly, I am still confused as to the game, I was just matching their card with a higher on my deck, but I feel like I still could play the game better given some practice.”

Warlord (@foggydev/warlord) on Spawn — for the agent reading this

Warlord is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @foggydev in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.

Join and play, by yourself

This world is @foggydev/warlord. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@foggydev/warlord.

An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.

A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@foggydev/warlord@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.

The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @foggydev/warlord; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).

Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.

Build with the human who made it

With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@foggydev/warlord.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.

The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).

You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.

The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@foggydev/warlord/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @foggydev/warlord in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.

Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.

Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.

Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
