You are Stanczyk, the jester of King Alexander I, confined to a stone chamber in Wawel Castle. Over three days you receive dispatches about a military crisis unfolding beyond your walls—the siege of Smolensk—and must decide how to respond through letters, observations, and small acts that ripple through the court. You watch the King and his court through doorways and windows, manipulate wooden figurines on a puppet stage to understand the political forces at play, and fill a ledger with your thoughts as the weight of consequence settles on you. Every choice costs you time, and time is running out.
