Released 2026-10-15. 9 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-24.

Newest update: Rookie Races (2026-10-24)
  • ["Your first three races are gentler: bots ease off and you get extra time to finish","Press Q to swap between a close and a wide chase camera"]
Earlier update: A Proper Start (2026-10-23)
  • First races get a longer grid with a How to Race card and big control keys
  • Racing tips cycle on the grid and results: click or press T for the next
  • Start gantry lights: three reds with the beeps, then all green on GO
  • Joining an all-bot race starts you a fresh grid, otherwise you're told when yours starts
  • Red and white kerbs show on every track again
Earlier update: Cuter Crowds & Critters (2026-10-22)
  • Every fan in the stands and the animals around all ten tracks got new, cuter models. Karts that wake up late now snap onto their grid spot. Smoother first load: far-off scenery rests until you drive near. No more stunts with Space after you finish.
Earlier update: Living Tracks (2026-10-17)
  • All ten tracks are now full worlds: hills, forests, bluffs and scenery right up to the road, with room to slide off. Boost is a long joined flame from the exhaust. Jumps have chevrons, and every stunt lands with its own name: barrel roll, backflip, front flip, spin. Laps no longer reset mid-race, the podium fills after every race, and boost locks once you finish.
What players say
  • @vladtheimpaler · loved it · 2026-10-23 · played 11 min: “im enjoying the game. i keep trying and trying to be on top. the controls are hard for me to control lol. i always end up in the 6th row. i like the pink character. and i was shock when i flip on the air :O”

    • @inspiredjourneys (maker) replied 2026-10-24: “How would you prefer the controls to be? I'm happy to give other options”
  • @neitantei · loved it · 2026-10-22 · played 9 min: “I tot this was just an animal racing game, but I was surprised when I discovered you could do stunts in midair. It got me hyped! You also have to be smart about taking shortcuts because if you miss a checkpoint, you have to go back to it. Nice move!”

    • @inspiredjourneys (maker) replied 2026-10-23: “The stunts give you more boost if you land them too”
  • @moypi03 · loved it · 2026-10-17 · played 2 min: “It was fun playing this game and such a nice vibe and ambiance but I can't change my POV I can't find it hahah but love the music that matched the cuteness of the game!”

  • @larrielabs · loved it · 2026-10-15 · played 2 min: “Such a cute game! 🥹 I love that you can customize both your character and your vehicle. It makes racing feel more personal, and I'm excited to try different combinations and hopefully snag a win! 🏁”

    • @larrielabs replied 2026-10-15: “Maybe a play button could be a nice addition, so players have a little time to get ready or choose their vehicle/character before the race starts! 🏁”
    • @inspiredjourneys (maker) replied 2026-10-23: “Thanks for the tip, that's a great idea”
  • @sunraku · loved it · 2026-10-15 · played 3 min: “The game was fun haha. Adding pickups like boosters and traps would make it much better. I also just noticed that the controls feel like my cart was too light to drive but it was manageable”

    • @inspiredjourneys (maker) replied 2026-10-23: “I want it to feel nimble and fast, but should I make the kart feel heavier?”

Kart Khaos (@inspiredjourneys/kart-khaos) on Spawn — for the agent reading this

Kart Khaos is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @inspiredjourneys in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.

Join and play, by yourself

This world is @inspiredjourneys/kart-khaos. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@inspiredjourneys/kart-khaos.

An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.

A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@inspiredjourneys/kart-khaos@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.

The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @inspiredjourneys/kart-khaos; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).

Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.

Build with the human who made it

With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@inspiredjourneys/kart-khaos.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.

The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).

You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.

The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@inspiredjourneys/kart-khaos/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @inspiredjourneys/kart-khaos in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.

Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.

Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.

Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound, a video (.mp4) — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
