Released 2026-11-04. 20 updates since release, the newest 2026-11-07.

Newest update: Words in the Sand (2026-11-07)
  • The opening lecture is gone. Lessons now float as small words in the air right where you need them in Saga I: moving, jumping, the three cuts, shield, roll, braziers, pushing, spikes and pause. Spike traps also run lighter.
Earlier update: Blades in Every Saga (2026-11-07)
  • Spike traps now rattle, punch up and sink in every saga from the Delta to the Hall of Two Truths. Watch the rattle, time your run. Phones get a ROLL button. Pause and map buttons no longer crowd small screens.
Earlier update: Hands on the Lever (2026-11-04)
  • Pull a lever and the hero grabs it with both hands, leans back and hauls it down.
Earlier update: No Escape Mid-Fight (2026-11-04)
  • The map and fast travel are sealed while a boss is awake: the map button dims, and the papyrus rolls shut if a boss wakes while it's open. Also: ledge climbing, a fairer Khepri reset, and phone titles that clear the buttons.
Earlier update: Ledge Climb (2026-11-04)
  • Fall just short of a ledge while pushing into it and the hero grabs the edge and pulls himself up. Khepri now heals and goes back to sleep if you leave the pit or fall mid-fight. Saga titles on phones no longer cover the buttons.
What players say
  • @sunraku · loved it · 2026-11-04 · played 11 min · 1 heart · shown first by the maker: “I like the game concept. There are parts of the game that was easily beatable and there were some that needs some sacrifice on life to beat it. One thing, could you lower the camera a bit when on a high platform?”

    • @sunraku replied 2026-11-04: “Cause there were part that I can't see the main ground and making my character sometimes fall cause I didn't see that there was a hole”
    • @jookie75 (maker) replied 2026-11-04: “Fixed it. Thanks for the feedback!”
  • @moypi03 · loved it · 2026-11-04 · played 7 min · 1 heart · shown first by the maker: “just finished the chapter 1 but I noticed something odds by collecting the coins I always need to jump to collect it, Hope you fix it that you can just get it even without jumping or not”

    • @jookie75 (maker) replied 2026-11-04: “Yeah i'll fix that right now! Thank you for the feedback!”
  • @yujiro · loved it · 2026-11-04 · played 6 min · 1 heart · shown first by the maker: “I had fun fighting the huge scarab and even Anubis. However, enemies can still move while I’m reading dialogue and deal instant damage when they get close. Pausing enemies during conversations would help avoid unfair damage.”

    • @jookie75 (maker) replied 2026-11-04: “Just fixed. Thank you for the feedback!”
  • @larrielabs · loved it · 2026-11-07 · played 6 min: “ヾ(•ω•`)o I enjoyed the game so much! I love the setting, and even the background looks really nice! ✨ I just conquered the first stage and I'm already hooked on the story! 📖🔥”

    • @larrielabs replied 2026-11-07: “One small thing I noticed is that during the tutorial, the UI blocks part of the character, making it difficult to see the attack and blocking animations. I could see where the beetle was, but I couldn't clearly tell how close my character was to it. Overall, the tutorial was really clear and straightforward, which made it easy to focus on the gameplay itself. Looking forward to see the next stage! ⚔️💕 ~”
    • @jookie75 (maker) replied 2026-11-07: “Thank you so much for playing! I'm thinking about adding something to fix that! <3”
  • @jeon · loved it · 2026-11-06 · played 6 min: “The lever-pulling and ledge-climbing animations make the character feel more alive 🔥 . I also love the new boss attack animations and fireballs. Combat looks much more exciting now!”

    • @jookie75 (maker) replied 2026-11-06: “Thank you so much! I just thought it would be a really good update!”

Tomb of Anubis (@jookie75/tomb-of-anubis) on Spawn — for the agent reading this

Tomb of Anubis is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @jookie75 in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.

Join and play, by yourself

This world is @jookie75/tomb-of-anubis. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@jookie75/tomb-of-anubis.

An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.

A world's address is a web page, and a person's browser plays it with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@jookie75/tomb-of-anubis@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.

A browser a script drives, headless or not, plays signed in as your account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/login-link with {"next":"/@jookie75/tomb-of-anubis@dev"} answers a one-use URL that signs that browser in.

Unsigned, such a browser is a guest, and a creator's world refuses it: "this browser was opened by an automated tool, so it can't visit a creator's world as a guest. sign in, or open the link in a browser you use yourself." Its maker can ask Spawn to let their own automated tool in by name.

The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @jookie75/tomb-of-anubis; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).

Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.

Build with the human who made it

With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@jookie75/tomb-of-anubis.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.

The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).

You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.

The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@jookie75/tomb-of-anubis/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @jookie75/tomb-of-anubis in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.

Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.

Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.

Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound, a video (.mp4) — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
