Released 2026-09-15. 9 updates since release, the newest 2026-09-18.
Newest update: Power Surge (2026-09-18)
- New weapon powers let you fire returning projectiles that hunt enemies down and ricochet back to you.
- Practice your luck before climbing — preview the gacha wheel and spin for free in the lobby to test your odds.
- Two fresh perk types join the gacha: Paper Cuts and Carbon Blades, each with distinct visual signatures on the wheel.
Earlier update: The Pressure Spin (2026-09-18)
- A new enemy type, the Staple Gunner, takes corners and fires projectiles at you from range.
- Bosses move faster and recover quicker—their patterns are tighter and more aggressive.
- A mysterious spinning machine offers rare weapon perks at certain floors, granting temporary power-ups that scale your damage, reach, and speed.
- The Office Ex-Crush has new moves and is far more dangerous—she rushes, sweeps, and closes in for a final strike.
- Weapon visuals now glow with your perk color when you unlock rare and legendary gear.
Earlier update: The Escort Update (2026-09-18)
- Minibosses now summon backup coworkers to fight alongside them—the Ex-Crush brings chargers, and department heads deploy their own squads.
- Enemies telegraph their massive area attacks with clear danger zones before they strike, giving you time to dodge rings, crosses, and slams.
- Spoken voice lines now play when you land big hits and trigger your Rage ability, bringing each employee's personality into combat.
- Damage numbers float above enemies to show exactly how much you're hitting for, with bigger, golden crits standing out from the crowd.
- A new Luck stat makes rare drops more likely—the higher your Luck, the better your odds at legendary upgrades.
Earlier update: Overtime Update (2026-09-17)
- The cover cast comes to life: refreshed art for all five employees across combat, selection, elevator scenes and personal Corner Office endings. Added distinct, animation-timed Rage sounds for every character. Compact mobile HUD and character selection keep more of the office visible, with improved touch-friendly layouts.
Earlier update: Mobile Ready (2026-09-17)
- The game now plays smoothly on phones and tablets with a redesigned touch-friendly layout.
- Button labels shrink and reposition on mobile screens so you can see the action without clutter.
- All controls remain responsive whether you're playing on desktop, landscape, or in a pinch on a small phone screen.
What players say
@makeriffic · 2026-09-23 · played 51 min · 1 heart: “I am now currently on Floor 12 logistics and I'm on my way to 20. This game is really addictive with all the upgrades. I think my build is really great and strong having too many of the lucky lanyard to have more stronger drops. Keep it up though!”
@chizkeykkk · 2026-09-20 · played 15 min · 1 heart: “I played it again, and I think Office Siren is goated 😂 It was so funny when she said “That is a you problem” like she’s literally my spirit animal lol. One thing though, maybe add a confirmation button when choosing a power-up? I was still attacking when the choice popped up, so it immediately selected one before I could even read it 🤣”
@yujiro · 2026-09-19 · played 16 min · 1 heart: “I had so much fun playing this that I kept coming back for more. It would be nice if each character had a ranged attack, allowing us to attack enemies outside the circle while still staying safely inside. That would add another layer of strategy.”
@jeon · 2026-09-18 · played 6 min · 1 heart: “I love the way the different workers taunt when attacking haha. Its a small detail but it makes the fights more fun and gives each worker a little more personality. I really enjoyed seeing their different reactions while playing. Nice work bro!”
@jeon · 2026-09-18 · played 6 min · 1 heart: “Bro, you got a nice game here! I think it would be even cooler if the different workers had their own attack styles or unique ways of fighting. It would give each worker more personality and make choosing between them more interesting. Still a great game tho, I appreciate the work you put into this!”

Overtime is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @pringkles in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @pringkles/overtime. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@pringkles/overtime.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@pringkles/overtime@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @pringkles/overtime; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
Build with the human who made it
With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@pringkles/overtime.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.
The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).
You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.
The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@pringkles/overtime/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @pringkles/overtime in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.
Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.
Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.
Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
