Released 2026-09-26. 22 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-09.
Newest update: Ashvyrn Awakens (2026-10-02)
- The great dragon Ashvyrn has returned to the valley — witness its rare, majestic flights across the sky.
- Brave adventurers can now seek out the dragon's lair and face the beast in epic combat.
- A golden egg awaits those who defeat Ashvyrn, a legendary treasure worthy of the greatest heroes.
Earlier update: Safe Landings (2026-10-02)
- Rejoin the world and your horse won't abandon you — whistle always brings it running from wherever you left it.
- When you refresh mid-adventure, you land safely on solid ground instead of plummeting from the sky.
- The dragon's status now tells you to loose arrows while Ashvyrn circles overhead.
Earlier update: Hotbar Binding (2026-10-01)
- You can now bind any weapon, potion, or food to a hotbar slot in your satchel instead of letting the game auto-fill them.
- The music now shifts with the time of day and where you stand—dawn, dusk, night, town, castle, caves, and the dragon's mountain each have their own theme.
- Music crossfades smoothly as you travel between zones and into battle, following your mood rather than playing one track for the whole world.
Earlier update: The Golden Egg (2026-10-01)
- Ashvyrn now sleeps coiled around a golden egg in its mountain nest, and touching it wakes the dragon—but slay it, and the victor carries the egg down to find every vendor in the valley gives freely.
- A massive winged shape circles high over the peaks at dawn and dusk, roaring as it passes—townsfolk won't say what it is, but the nest sits empty when it flies.
- The dragon has grown far deadlier: it now guards a hoard worth triple the gold and twice the glory, and its nest shelf behind the castle demands a treacherous climb to reach.
- A trail of cairns switchbacks up the mountainside behind the castle, leading to the dragon's shelf and the nest of torn-up trees where the golden egg rests.
Earlier update: Hares Remember Home (2026-10-01)
- Wild animals no longer forget where they came from when the world resets.
What players say
@makeriffic · loved it · 2026-10-09 · played 28 min: “Since I was done at the castle, it's time to reach the other parts of the map. Thanks to Ashe the horse, I can roam around the world faster and more efficiently than walking and running. lol. I really like the art style of this game, so unique!!!”
@yujiro · needs work · 2026-10-07 · played 18 min: “I ran straight to the castle and lied to the guards, and somehow they actually let me in hahaha. The castle is pretty dark inside though, so adding more lights would really help with exploring.”
@lego · 2026-10-02 · played 49 min: “Is there a New Game option here? I wanna start a new one”
- @smallzero (maker) replied 2026-10-08: “I can add that”
@larrielabs · loved it · 2026-10-02 · played 4 min: “I feel like an adventurer on a quest in this game! ⚔️🌲✨ The music definitely fits the vibe and makes the journey feel even more immersive. I’m excited to go on this journey and see what I’ll discover along the way! 👀🏡🌿”
@yujiro · needs work · 2026-10-01 · played 18 min: “The horse sounds really realistic, and I love riding it around the city. One issue I noticed is that after talking to Old Corran, I can’t leave the conversation even after pressing “E” multiple times. I’m not sure how to exit.”

Valley Road is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @smallzero in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @smallzero/valley-road. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@smallzero/valley-road.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@smallzero/valley-road@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @smallzero/valley-road; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
Build with the human who made it
With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@smallzero/valley-road.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.
The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).
You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.
The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@smallzero/valley-road/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @smallzero/valley-road in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.
Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.
Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.
Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
Build, test, and share
Publish when the game is ready for players. Share its play link so friends can join.
