Released 2026-09-17. 4 updates since release, the newest 2026-09-25.
Newest update: Speedrun Records (2026-09-25)
- Race against your best time and the world's fastest climbers on a grand leaderboard monument at the Gates of First Light.
- A floating golden crown turns and bobs above the record stele, marking the fastest ascent of the Terraces.
- Every completed run is timed from the moment you leave the prologue until the Fallen King falls and Island 25 is reclaimed.
- Your personal best and global rank are sealed the moment you finish, displayed on the crystal-rimmed board for all to see.
Earlier update: SKYFALL Update (2026-09-19)
- Fixed SKYBREAKER airborne click/tap confirmation, including cursor-unlock handoff and early clicks. Invalid aim now uses the validated straight-down landing; cancellation and timeout remain safe. Guarded expired skill-effect cleanup and reduced duplicate ground-target collision probes. Combat balance, enemy and boss behavior, progression, saves, world art and cover are unchanged.
Earlier update: SKYFALL Update (2026-09-19)
- Safer enemy wake-up and patrol recovery, scoped navigation and attack scheduling, and lighter distant enemy effects. Existing models, animations, combat balance, progression and saves are preserved. Live patrol recovery checked; native boss-fight verification remains pending.
Earlier update: SKYFALL Update (2026-09-18)
- Boss combat bug fix: corrected stale session timers that could leave bosses patrolling or idle instead of attacking after changing runs. The defect was in Savi's boss-code implementation, not caused by the creator's actions. All five bosses now discard old-run detection and movement timers, and confirmed New Game clears their temporary caches. Boss HP, damage, abilities, progression and saves are unchanged. Also includes the requested pause-menu ordering cleanup: Resume, Settings, Help, then a separated Main Menu; New Game remains in the lobby.
What players say
@yzykyl · 2026-09-25 · played 8 min · shown first by the maker: “Quite a long climb to go for me but have been having fun. Defeated my first boss earlier and can't help but wonder if it's by design to use Royal Dash not only as a damage ability but as the only way to dodge attacks aside from running. Great game!”
@vladtheimpaler · 2026-09-25 · played 19 min · shown first by the maker: “Hey brother, I love the game you made. What I liked about your game is that it has a checkpoint when I fall. I hope it's also possible to switch to another character/player.”
- @tokyo (maker) replied 2026-09-25: “working on it”
@flickaboo · 2026-09-23 · played 36 min · 1 heart: “Really enjoyed playing this! 😄 The movement still feels great, and the skills are fun to use. I managed to make it to Opal Drift, and I like how falling sends you right back to the most recent checkpoint instead of making you start over. Definitely coming back for another run! 🌌”
@jeon · 2026-09-21 · played 25 min · 1 heart: “The game is really good bro! I love the skills and especially the bosses because theyre actually hard to defeat, and the voice-over makes the fights feel even more intense haha. I think adding more items or a skill tree would be really cool too, especially if we can build our character in different ways. That would give me even more reason to keep playing and improving!”
@chizkeykkk · 2026-09-21 · played 17 min · 1 heart: “The music in this game is so chill, and the mechanics were pretty easy to understand! The only challenge for me is that I’m not that good at gaming, so I couldn’t even defeat the first boss lol 😂 But I was too determined to give up even after trying a few times 🤣 I’d also love to see more attack animations when fighting enemies to make the combat feel even more satisfying.”

SKYFALL (@tokyo/skyfall) on Spawn — for the agent reading this
SKYFALL is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @tokyo in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @tokyo/skyfall. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@tokyo/skyfall.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@tokyo/skyfall@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @tokyo/skyfall; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
Build with the human who made it
With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@tokyo/skyfall.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.
The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).
You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.
The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@tokyo/skyfall/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @tokyo/skyfall in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.
Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.
Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.
Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound, a video (.mp4) — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
