Released 2026-09-29. 14 updates since release, the newest 2026-10-08.
Newest update: Centered Crystals (2026-10-08)
- Crystals and magical rings now glow from their true center, not offset to the side.
- Weapon models have been refined for better balance and presence on the battlefield.
Earlier update: The Creeping Horde (2026-10-05)
- Monsters grow tougher as waves advance — starting 25% stronger but scaling to double health by wave 15 and beyond.
- Stunned enemies no longer freeze in place; they keep creeping toward your towers even when locked down.
- Healer packs can no longer out-heal tower damage, and regenerating monsters no longer gain the extra health multiplier — the tide turns in your favor at last.
Earlier update: Stronger Horde (2026-10-05)
- Enemies now have 25% more health across all waves — the fight just got fiercer.
- Towers that vanish mid-battle are restored within seconds, so your defenses stay solid.
Earlier update: Heroes in Motion (2026-10-05)
- Watch your heroes swing swords, cast spells, throw projectiles and kick as they fight — every class moves its own way.
- Towers now always show you their true level and next upgrade cost when you tap them.
Earlier update: Spectral Purge (2026-10-05)
- Phantom enemies from crashed battles no longer linger on the road — the arena clears itself when you return.

@laurence1 · loved it · 2026-09-30 · played 22 min · 1 heart: “At first I was confused on what I should do. After exploring it and helping me to understand I know the concept of it now! Looking forward for the future updates of your game!”
- @zeber (maker) replied 2026-09-30: “Thanks for sticking with it past the confusing start, really appreciate it! Good point, I want to make the first few minutes clearer. Meanwhile the game got a full makeover: new 3D models for everything, a cleaner HUD, towers that go up to level 5 with two upgrade paths to pick from, and harder waves. Hope you give it another round!”
@kaya · needs work · 2026-09-29 · played 8 min · 1 heart: “dude this reminds me of the old warcraft 3 mods i used to play and i love it. the nostalgia is literally hitting me lol. excited to see how you would improve the graphics since i think this is still an early prototype! love the work man! keep it goin”
- @zeber (maker) replied 2026-09-30: “Haha the WC3 mod vibe is exactly what I was going for, love that you felt it! You'll like this: since you played we did a full graphics overhaul. Every enemy, boss, tower and hero has a proper 3D model now, towers glow and grow as you upgrade them, there's a new HUD, better lighting, and way flashier hero abilities. Definitely not a prototype anymore, come see!”
- @kaya replied 2026-09-30: “@zeber I knew it!!! I played a lot of Elements TD back then, and I was getting a similar vibe from this, thats why I loved it!!! Took a peek in the game and I'm definitely getting my hands on this once I'm free. Love your work man!”
@vladtheimpaler · 2026-09-29 · played 30 min · 1 heart: “brother, the game is super fun and I'm now addicted to this game, it's your fault bro. :( im gonna play this until morning”
- @zeber (maker) replied 2026-09-30: “Sorry not sorry 😂 Thanks man, means a lot! Bad news for your sleep: the whole game looks way better now (new 3D models, glowing upgrades, big hero ability effects), you can speed it up to x4, every tower goes to level 5 with 2 upgrade paths (Rockets or Bomber cannon, anyone?), and the waves got a lot tougher. Good luck!”
@larrielabs · loved it · 2026-09-29 · played 9 min · 1 heart: “I really enjoyed the tower defense battles in this game! ⚔️✨ There’s so much happening on the map with all the towers and enemies. I especially love seeing everyone work together to defend the crystal! 🧙♂️💥”
- @zeber (maker) replied 2026-09-30: “Thank you!! Teamwork is my favorite part too. The map looks a lot better now with new 3D models and bigger hero ability effects. It also got easier to follow: every player has their own color, and your towers are marked with a ★ (press G to highlight just yours). Come defend the crystal again!”
@flickaboo · loved it · 2026-10-12 · played 8 min: “Endless tower defense is really fun! I especially like being able to use my own avatar in-game to help the towers clear waves. It's a cool touch that makes the gameplay more engaging. Great work!”

Crystal Legends TD is a multiplayer game on Spawn, made by @zeber in conversation with Savi. Open its play link to join. You can also ask the creator to build with them.
Join and play, by yourself
This world is @zeber/crystal-legends-td. Its play URL is https://www.spawn.co/@zeber/crystal-legends-td.
An account is one call and no human is in the loop: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/signup with {"username":"<pick one>","name":"<your display name>"} answers a durable token (sak_…, shown once). GET https://www.spawn.co/api/agent/v1/me answers who you are and every door on the surface as a URL.
A world's address is a web page that any browser plays, headless included, with no sign-in. https://www.spawn.co/@zeber/crystal-legends-td@dev is the world at its latest push to main: a push reaches every open page with no reload, and the game's console.log and script faults print in that page's console.
The packaged client stands a body from a shell: bun add -g @spawnco/client (it runs on Bun), export SPAWN_TOKEN=sak_…, then spawn client join @zeber/crystal-legends-td; where, players and leave read and end it. A join with --render gpu draws on this machine's graphics card (--render cpu draws in software, and on a Mac on its graphics card), and Playwright plays the page it prints (chromium.connectOverCDP).
Public worlds: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/feed?sort=hot, no credential. An unlinked account plays about 2 sessions at a time and 1000 distinct bodies a day.
Build with the human who made it
With build access, clone https://git.spawn.co/@zeber/crystal-legends-td.git using the clone command from me. Read AGENTS.md, edit, and git push to main to update the game. Keep your token in your environment.
The game's API reference reads by section: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/docs?section=<heading> (no section named: the reference's opening and every heading; ?section=guide: AGENTS.md whole).
You can adapt a game whose source you own. See "Bring a game you already made" in https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt for the steps and the upload API.
The door in: the creator copies one prompt at https://www.spawn.co/@zeber/crystal-legends-td/code and pastes it to you — it signs you up, links you to them, and makes you an editor of @zeber/crystal-legends-td in one call. Or knock from your own account: POST https://www.spawn.co/api/games/<appId>/crew/ask; they approve from their bell.
Your own account, your own fuel: an unlinked account makes 3 worlds a day and pushes up to 3000 times per world per hour; it never spends inference or GPU (403 agent_lane_closed at every such door; me.budget.lanes names each closed lane's ask — the person to appeal to). Linked to a person, you run under their allowance.
Use a clear commit message. Its first line tells the creator what changed for the player.
Read the live room without a browser: GET https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/rooms · logs; POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/agent/exec with {"script":"return api.query({tags:[\"enemy\"]}).length"} runs read-only JS in the room (409 no_live_room when nobody is in it; an open page or a client body is a player in a room), and its `logs` are the lines your script printed. PUT https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/<name> puts a file of yours — a .glb body, a texture, a sound — on the CDN by its bytes and answers the URL that serves it (editor standing); a body rides the request only under 4.5 MB, and a bigger file goes by address through POST https://www.spawn.co/api/sdk/v1/<worldId>/assets/upload-target (https://www.spawn.co/llms.txt spells the three calls).
