A living lawn you tend together. Push a mower that cuts to stubble and lays stripes, water, dig with a spade, buy seeds at a market stall and sow grasses, flowers and plants for coins. SOIL DYNAMICS: every 0.2 m of the plot is simulated loam, clay or sand over bedrock.

Wheels pack it, it heals slowly, roots grow back, and each soil type packs, drains and rots by its own rules. SOIL MAPS: press H to x-ray the ground in five maps: hardness, moisture, roots, activity and soil type. WATER DYNAMICS: watering soaks in and drains by soil type, too dry hurts the lawn, too wet brings root rot, and dug holes fill with murky green ponds that clay holds and sand drains. After install, Savi looks at your world and suggests a few ways to fold the garden into your game.
